      HeHe, My pleasure! Thank you. For a simple talking head video, no, no 120 fps or 10 bits. If we talk about client work, after-movies, yes, but for something. like this 120 fps? Why? :))

    • @Ahmad.3rabi
      @Ahmad.3rabi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GabrielVIP you see my theory is TH-camers treat gear as what the want , not what you need .
      I believe that what make average consumer feels like he'll be lift behind if he didn't get the latest and greatest tech , you follow me?

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ahmad.3rabi That’s 100% true! But many creators don’t understand gear and say: I want my image to look like X creator or Y creator, but they don’t understand that a specific image is created with specific gear, lights etc... For 90% of social media content, a ZV E10, 25, 30 fps, 8 bits and a decent lens is more than perfect :)

    1/ What cable do I need to go from the Z0om to the camera? (You show it at 6:34 but don't list it.)? In a desktop setup this needs to be a longer cable than what you show. 2/ Do I maximize the gain on the Z0om or on the camera, to minimize noise? Thank you, again and again, for this wonderful video, I keep going back to it.

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey. The cable is a classic 3.5mm stereo jack to 3.5mm stereo jack. You can find this super easy in electronic stores or amazon. The best thing to do is lower the preamps of the camera as much as possible and set the level from the ZOOM. Zoom will send a clean signal to camera and if the camera preamp is lower, the noise will be super low. Thank you!

      Hey. Glad you like it. In my opinion 16mm is great for small rooms. You have a wide enough angle and if you want you can crop a little bit and achieve a more tighter angle. Or you can choose Sigma 30mm with 1.4 if you want something else. And if you want wider… with 1.4 Idon’t really know but I think you can find something from Viltrox. Thank You!

    Hey Gabriel,
    New subscriber here. Thanks for the video. I'm in the process of revamping my studio to do primarily talking head videos and is looking for the best set up. Your video was very useful. I got some questions if you got time to answer.
    1. Which camera do you recommend for continuous 4K recording for more than 30 mins? I use a Sony Alpha 6500 and it overheats in about 15 mins or so.
    2. Which lens do you recommend for a good depth of field? Is the G master prime lens 24mm good enough or an overkill?
    3. The Zoom recorder looks amazing. Can you list down the accessories I'll need for two mics, directly plugged to Zoom and whatever it takes to move the audio to PC/Mac?
    4. What lighting set up do you recommend? Along with the background lights (RGB?)
    5. Do you recommend recording directly to PC/Mac or the SD card? I find using the SD card cumbersome - moving it all the time causes some wear and tear. Trying to avoid it.
    Thanks a ton. Will credit this video once the set up goes live.

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey bro! Thank you! It's all about the budget :))
      1. I think you can do it with a6700 (amzn.to/3Zr0AKv), but If you want the best when it comes to overheating, use this one: amzn.to/46adQ8z
      2. G master is good but expensive. Just for a talking head I will go with sigma 16mm f1.4 (amzn.to/3PekIea) or 30mm. f.1.4. (amzn.to/3EZlK9n)
      3. If you have the recorder and two mics, all you need are two cables and mic arms or stands but here you need to choose according to your needs. Also you need a micro sd card and A micro SD card reader to plug the card in the computer. (this one is good: amzn.to/3PirFeo)
      4. I use these lights for over 4 years: (amzn.to/3PirFeo), and I am super happy with them. How many... it depends to your space. And for RGB, I use Sirui Lights: amzn.to/3PGPopG
      5. I record on the SD and download the files with a card reader. I don't have a problem to plus the. card to the PC, but if you want to record directly in the PC... is ok. Is the same thing. Just be sure to set things right and record in 32 bits float. On the card it records true 32 bits, on PC, you need to set the software to record in 32 bits float.
      I hope this will help you :)

      No! I don't recommend Rodecaster over F3 and 32-bit float. The recommendation of Rodecaster is just if you need many channels and complex control for streaming. For that… it’s almost the only solution like on a radio station. But if you just record, the F3 it’s my first choice.

      If you want just a microphone you can do it with a normal audio interface, but if you want more control, for live, yes! Rodecaster is the best choice. If you have it you can do recorded videos and also super live and streams etc. You will not have problems with Rodecaster for video creation. Recorded or live. (For recorded videos I prefer the F3 because it's small, compact and easy to use, but if you plan to do live, rodecaster will be perfect)

      Hello. Yes, I deleted all my shorts. I made shorts in december 2023. But I don’t like how it works. I had a ton of views but only kids. My channel on long form have an audice over 25 years old, and this crazy algorithm showed my shorts just to kids even if I had the same topics, on the same serious style. So… I prefer to shut down my shorts production.

    Good video but is it just me or did it feel like the video just ended out of nowhere? He mentions to go check another video for vlogging and then boom it's over. No outro, no recap, just ends. It caught me off guard and now it is all I am thinking about as opposed to the actual content in the video itself.

      Hey! Thank you for your fredback. This is my style and a good style for my videos :) I give value on the entire video, I said my recommendations and at the end, yes, I encouraged my audience to check another video because if you want to learn content creation you need much more. I dont do recaps and outros because it will just hurt my videos retention and my videos will never be promoted by the algorithm. You said It’s a good video and I appreciate that, thank you! But if I don’t have a good retention the algorithm will never promote my video and someone like you will never discover it. And, why should I do recaps when you can allways come back and check if you forgot something? And is more important to show the next important video to watch then to see me how I say: Have a great day, thank you, bye bye :)) Thank you for your feedback man 🙋🏻‍♂️

      Because when you start an outro, like "ok guys thanks for watching", then people will click off and not see his next recommended video. So he does it abruptly to catch you off guard

      The lack of bass has nothing to do with the software. I cut the bass because my room has huge reverb on low frequencies so I need to cut the low frequencies down.
