    I've lived in Colorado for 32 years. All but 5 of those years were in Aurora, and I enjoyed it overall. It is much cheaper than Denver and the southern half has Cherry Creek schools, which are very good. When I lived in Aurora, I always wanted to move to Denver to be closer to cultural offerings, but now that I live in Denver and am constantly around the homelessness crisis, I miss living in the 'burbs (Aurora).

      What you say is very similar to friends and clients that I’ve chatted with about Aurora. A lot of the things Aurora gets a bad rap for we’re not a big deal to them or didn’t exist at all. There’s definitely a lot to like about it. Do you consider moving back now that you’ve experienced living in Denver?

      How did you feel about the death of Elijah Mcclain murdered by the police. Did you enjoy it? Are you happy the police have gotten away with it?

    I'm 29, been in Colorado springs my whole life, I'm looking to relocate. Aurora is in my sight. I have nothing but I'm confident I can find something

      I think Aurora has a lot going for it. It had a reputation when I was a kid, but people love to trash what they don’t know. It’s treated a lot of my friends and clients very well!

    OOOOoooooo, it's "diverse!" Wonderful. It's our strength, you know. BTW: With a crime rate of 49 per one thousand residents, Aurora has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 20.

    Hey Man my name is Derrick,and I lived in Aurora before I moved back to Baltimore where I'm truly from. I had to come back to take care of my mom,but I'm feeling home sick. I use to love on the Alameda and Chambers. I'm ready to come back home😂😂😂

    I’m planning to move to Aurora soon ! Any recxomendations for us healthcare workers seeking to skip traffic to work and also good schools near by for my kids (4 kids of all elementary school ages )

      That’s exciting! The Anschutz campus is huge for healthcare in Aurora - and neighborhoods like the Aurora Highlands, Central Park, Green Valley Ranch and even going south down to Tallyns Reach and Southshore are great options!

    The downside is that the gangs from Denver are spilling into aurora and Colorado is downplaying it. Soon to end. Not to rain on the parade

      No doubt it is a serious issue and one the entire city will be watching closely!

    Aurora was my home for 48 years, and I never thought I would leave. Driving was fun, dodging potholes, fixing my vehicles every weekend because of potholes. Then being told that my vehicles wont pass emissions because they are too old...the expenses of living there were rediculous. Then, on the weekends, the neighbors were either fighting or partying. Someone was shot in the stories everyday...yeah i dont miss the place

    It’s ghetto like a Detroit vibe no matter where you live , it’s just one of cheaper areas to buy housing or apartments

    • @destinationdenvercolorado
      @destinationdenvercolorado  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are plenty of areas in Aurora that are great places to live - its a massive suburb. Your statement is extremely inaccurate - including about Detroit.

    i will work in kindred hospital in potomac st aurora CO..usually how much is the nearest studio apartment along that area? Thanks

    • @destinationdenvercolorado
      @destinationdenvercolorado  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Admittedly I don’t have a lot of insight on specific apartments as my work is in the lending side for someone to buy, but I’ve seems units from $1200 up that people seemed to have good things to say about.

    Don't fool yourself if you wasn't born Colorado doesn't qualify u say anything Colorado in general

    • @destinationdenvercolorado
      @destinationdenvercolorado  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I appreciate you watching - and since I was born and raised in Lakewood I guess I’m qualified! I think someone should live somewhere for awhile before they draw hard opinions - but I can’t say I agree with the requirement that they be from that place. We all started somewhere!

    I think u forgot to do a section on the illegal gangs. May need to remake this video, unless you’re a dirty democrat, then u will try to sweep this under the rug.

      This video was made well over a year ago - and I don’t worry too much about people that begin their thoughts with insults.
