Jersey Joe Walcott is being a gentleman. He beat Lewis in their first match although they gave it to Joe Lewis who I greatly admire. And he fought Rocky Marciano for beyond his prime. He’s a gentleman because he speaks well of both of them and makes no excuses.
Tell you something, I came across a ringside clip,in color, with sound of Rocky and WALCOTT going at it and DAMN!!! I had no idea Walcott could freaking hit that hard. I saw 20 seconds of it and Rocky was getting BLASTED! how he took that I'll never know and it ended with him trading shots and knocking wallcot back and it reminded me of two big tanks trading rounds. All those guys are underrated I think now.
Louis has to be one of the most technically proficient punchers ever.

Marciano beat a Joe Louis far, far beyond his prime. I doubt he would have beaten a Joe Louis in his prime.
Jersey Joe was heavy weight champion of the world when Rocky beat him.
@@jamest681 Joe Louis was barely a shadow of the fighter that he was in his prime when Rocky [sic] beat him.

Walcott is an underrated all-time stud.
