Seriously, so few people volunteer to enlist that those who do should already feel proud of what they did. No need to embellish. Not everyone can be a Marine Raider or a SEAL or a Ranger, we need cooks, we need mechanics, we need admin specialists or we'd otherwise be a very ineffective military lol
Not sure why this guy feels he has to BS like he does. His boss said he's a great mechanic. Being a bad ass Harley mechanic is something to be proud of. Work hard, take pride in your work, give your customers great service, and you'll make them happy, and they'll appreciate and respect you for it. That should be more than enough for a great life.
Exactly. He would probably get respect for who he really is, where with this it just costs him respect. The less you lie, the less you have to remember.
I almost think this and the way others do the same thing is a mental issue. Okay, did two years why not be proud of that? I was 13B and did two tours. That was enough for me. Why do they try and boast it? Is what it is i say.
From a man that hasn't served: Thank you for what you do! Thank you for what you've done, what you've lost and the sacrifices you and your wife made. My grandfather's were both retired navy and Korean War vets. The values they had and the principles they lived by have greatly influenced my parents, myself and my two sons.
But if I may add, there are very, very, few places in public, except in a restroom (hopefully), that you are not being surveilled by a camera. Just sayin'..
God bless you Chief. I'm a Navy vet, submarine qualified, and I'm proud of that. We had a SEAL team with us for a training exercise during a WestPac. I was just glad we were on the same side. Thanks for what you do.
I said this on your last video, I'll say it again. You've got balls of steel to be able to do this. The amount of courage you show is exceptional. The fact you keep your composure is all the more impressive given everything. You're all amazing, and the amount of respect I have for you all is beyond words.

It’s obvious this guy is secret service and his identity is classified the mechanic is just a front, I’m glad we have heroes like mike thanks for your service. keep checking, keep checking
So much disrespect for my brothers out there! I have known many SEALS and it boils my blood when people try to steal their Valor! When I retired after 21 years of service I love seeing him bust these phonies! God bless you guys!
I have so much respect for what Seals do. The sacrifice they make to be in that branch of the service, it's sad that people would try to rise to that but not put in the time and effort.
I never served, but I love that you do this work, Don. Being in our armed forces is a tremendous honor, and it's shameful for anyone to claim it that did not earn it.
Navy retired senior chief hospital corpsman here. Stationed with a number of recon units and did some training with udt on cast and recovery for our recon squad in the philipines (sp). Professional guys everyone of them. No bravado just professionalism. Every seal I have met since retiring has been understated about his career in the Navy. They never come off like these guys you out. Great job and thank you for your service.
Hey, that stare that Chief gave that phony at 5:30, that's legit, that's the stare of a man who knows he can get out of a room, no matter how many are in front of the door. That's a comfort known only to few, truly known, that is. As a subscriber, Don, under the username 'Bam Bam,' love your work, Bro. Hope the stomach is healing up for you, nicely.
A true badass smelled the fear, and was ready for the guys fight or flight to kick in. Took the bladed stance and watched for the worm to turn. True to form, the phony coward only ran his mouth. One day I hope there’s a “buds131 uncut” so we can see a phony get the beat down 👍🏻

Pretty funny that the guy told them to do the research and them come to his job. Why would you tell someone to come to your job when you know you're lying? Pretty awesome they took him up on it. This guy actually got the tattoo.. that's just nuts.
If don Shipley showed up at my work and accused one of my employees of stolen Valor, being a seal at that, I would fire them on the spot and then ask dan if I could buy him a beer as an apology.
Chief Don should do a video on Mike Lamb the gun-tactics guy who lied & said he was MARSOC, Force Recon. All fake. Lamb owed up to it but it's still BS. 💩
@Lezbnlvr36 I'd take it to court. You don't have to employ people who are demonstrable liars, that makes them untrustworthy and a potential risk to your business as such.
All three of my uncles were in the Navy and one died while on active duty when I was 16. Our entire family was never the same after as he was everyone's favorite. I don't have a lot of vivid memories from my youth but I will never forget the moment I learned of his passing, the relentless effort by the navy to retrieve his body, nor the full military burial he received. The sacrifice is real and it is sad that someone tries to take credit without ever risking the sacrifice to do so. Both my surviving uncles served until retirement.
I remember this one, when you confronted him on the street, I’ve never understood these clowns, I was never any type of special ops, I’m proud of my 12 years of honorable service.
Most of these guys were kicked out of the military, dishonorable discharge. Then they have all these stories about being war heroes. Pathological liars.
You should be proud. I served 4yrs Navy on a CG (guided missile cruiser) and i'm extremely proud of my service. We all can't be Seals or even want to be,it's a team effort defending your country and all service members play a vital part that is just as important as special ops. If one member doesn't do his job or does it incorrectly,he can compromise an entire ship and the lives of all its members. That being said,Seal training is mentally and physically brutal and I give them the utmost respect for completing that training and becoming a team member as they are vital to our national security. What I'll never understand about these imposters, some actually served their hitch and were honorably discharged. I guess they were lacking in self esteem and had to embellish their record with a fraudulent claim of being in the special forces which in turn tarnished their actual honorable time in service with a lie. Maybe it boosts their morale and makes them feel important or tough,I don't get it! Just be proud of what you accomplished and leave it at that,no need to add false claims to buoy your ego/esteem. Truly pathetic!
"Check it out, check it out." Don checked him out and said there is no record of him ever being a SEAL. Tells Don to come to where he works, Don shows up and he says "Not here, not here." Here is a hint, once Don is on to your BS and has done all the research, just give it up.
I just found this channel and have to say "I am so confused why grown men lie about their service much less being a Navy Seal" Keep doing what your doing brother! I never served but am thankful and respectful for the guys that have served!
I served in the Navy for 5 years as a musician and proud of it. In 1988 I had the privilege of traveling with a Seal Team in South America on a Unitas cruise. Thank you for outing this clown.
I worked with a guy that was in the Army. Just retired. When he told me, I thank him and was gracious. Then he said, not really ashamed but was like well I was the head cook. I just said well that’s probably the most important job in the military. I bet everybody new him and was his friend. But there is no insignificant job in the military. Serving is serving no matter what. Do it with pride. Thanks for your service.
He’s not reciprocating the same energy from the last time you guy’s addressed him! I LOVE YOU DON! I have no clue why your videos like this makes me get emotional.. I genuinely appreciate what YOUVE DONE FOR OUR COUNTRY AND WHAT YOURE DOING NOW CALLING OUT THESE PHONYS!
@@MissPik Exactly. The first video you can tell he was feeling himself on the strip, smoking that cigar, & most definitely had a few drinks prior. That forsure pumped him up to have the energy he was giving in that vid.
Thank you so much for continuing to give back, serving our country, protecting the honor of those who endured hardships and misery and had the love to offer all they had. And thank you Don as well. [grin] I feel it and know just how important this work is. Please give a hug of thanks as well to those gentlemen who travel with you. He'll look dumb if he confesses???? He already looks dumb as fuck how much dumber can he look? The only small way to redeem anything is to confess and apologise. The people agreeing with you clearly aren't men and must be used to getting caught lying their selves.
It says in description that he was fired 'several' years ago as per this incident. Wondering why this was just uploaded now, if it happened several years ago?
I never did any time in the service. My grandfather did a little . I respect every man that has been in service to his country. It’s more than I have done. You can see people who actually believe their own lies , and he believes his lie. So he’s been telling that lie a longtime. It’s not for me to judge but I can see how an actual Seal would get really pissed off at the fakes in the world. Good video , keep up the good work.

Most of these guys were kicked out of the military, dishonorable discharge. Then they have all these stories about being war heroes. Pathological liars.
One day of service is more than I did and I am eternally thankful to all that served so I can live in freedom!
