Just do a 2 inch coil over in the front, and either 1 inch block, 1.5 AAL or 2 inch leafs in the rear. This with a 265 75 r16 or 265 70 r17 looks really good and will save you ton of headache and money. Going up to a 33 on the taco is definitely doable and looks great, but it requires more modifications than what most people want to or can afford to do.
I'm running 285 70 17 on a 2 inch eibach lift. I also installed spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers with a zero offset wheel. I had to viper cut on my bumper. I'm definitely real close to the cab mount. It's time for a chop
i got a 3 inch front 2 inch rear spacer leveling kit, i tested it before and after and there is 0 change in ride quality other than cornering is tippier, obviously, and as long as i don't hit bumps super hard it wont internally bottom out and wear out the shock faster
I have a 3.5" rough country full suspension lift and running stock tires lol I don't mind it at all and the lift I have had on truck for 2 year's with no problems at all.
I have a hilux 2017 and it is similar to the tacoma I went narrow 255/85/r17 works great, without trimming even at full compression of the suspension. I have OME lift kit XHD front and rear
i wish there more more options in 255 or 265, like for a larger variety of rim sizes, ESPECIALLY by/from BFG. 255 just makes fitting things so much easier not to mention a ton of other benefits.

Glad it was helpful! We recommend using an air saw to cut fenders and plastic... depends on where it's hitting, but we think air saws are the best way to do it.
I know several people with 3/2 ReadyLIFT on their Tacomas and have had zero issues. My friend has a 2016 with a 3/2 ReadyLIFT and has had it installed from the dealer in 2016 and has had ZERO issues. Sure it’s stiffer than stock but I too have a 3/2 ReadyLIFT and I love it. I also had a 3/2 ReadyLIFT on a Tundra and loved it on that truck too. The fact of the matter is when you’re going off road or you’re a hard-core off Roader something is bound to break, get worn out or get messed up.
It depends on your goals… reducing ride quality and decreasing your suspension’s travel for the sake of getting up higher doesn’t make sense to us. We think it’s worth just saving up a bit more and doing a proper lift. Nothing wrong with wanting a lift to get bigger tires though 🙏
I got a 98 tacoma with bilstien 5100s all around fj steelie 17in with yokohama geolanders 255/75/r17 dakar heavy OME springs in rear and OME heavy coils on front and it doesnt have any issues. Great video guys !

The “puck” does not change the spring rate whatsoever. It sits between the frame of the truck and the upper strut mount. The control arm angle however yes.
How would I be able to lift my 2023 Tacoma TRD pro about 2-3 inches without using a puck/spacer lift but also not having to get rid of my fox shocks???
17x9 -12 offset with a 1 inch spacer lift on a TRD Offroad on 285/70/17 Toyo AT3's provides no rubbing at all. Just remove mud flaps and you are good to go.

How in the fuck does a puck compress your spring. LMFAO.
A "puck" doesn't directly compress your spring, but preload collar lifts and many types of spacers reduce down travel. Either way, spacers are whack.
