I appreciate the upload and clear demonstration of what the diff positive power kit inserts do, hope you guys upload more for various chassis reinforcements and bushings you guys sell, as I am very interested in such modifications. Any idea if this type (not this exact part, but in general for the rear diff positive power kit inserts) would still be compatible with a rear differential skid plate?
I am planning to take mine off. There is a nasty clunk when disengaging a clutch as the bushings are so hard after installing the inserts. It is also quite a difficult to drive in a city as you have to slip clutch more so the driving is not jerky. That wears out your clutch faster. Really nice product if you want an immediate reaction to accelerations. But for the daily use not so recommended IMHO.
How did you get yours off of your car subframe? I took mine off of the differential carrier, but I can’t get the ones out of the subframe. Do you have a special way to do that?
On the STI are those just empty space you fill, or were there pockets of hydraulic fluid? Thinking of doing this for my 2014 Outback because my rear diff bushings are leaking fluid, but I don't understand if I need to cut the rubber holding the fluid out first, or if these just punch through the OEM bushing as you tighten them.
Video gives a good idea of what your doing but the recommendation video boxes are covering the before and after part so it's basically useless showing that
Just curious... The crossmember that you remove to insert the last 2 inserts, do you put both inserts on 1 side, or 1 insert on each side then reinstall?
Nice video, I have some question that I need to replace my rear diff bushing since its start to torn out. So with this insert so do i need to take old one out? Thanks
A little confused. There's the Part #: WHI KDT927 and the Part #: WHI KDT903. Both are Rear Diff Positive Power Inserts. Are they the same? Secondly, does the kit come with the inserts for both the top and the bottom mount points? Excited to do this soon given my Legacy 3.6R has noticeable slop on hard accelerating.
+Snakeplisskin440 Those are just different vehicle fitment, so make sure to use our vehicle selector to ensure you have the right part for your car. And they will come with the inserts for both top and bottom of the bushings. Thanks, Rick

I got Whiteline rear diff bushings.. love em
It showed installation in 3 spots. Is there 3 places for these or 4?
just did mine....wow, amazing difference!
torque specs?
Great video guys. Keep up the awesome work and keep bring these install / before and after videos.

nice video... Question. instead of inserts, is there a bushing upgrade you would recommend over adding inserts to a stock bushing?
***** Thank you Siiiiire

Wow yeah, good catch. Fixed it :)

you install both inserts on the left side of the diff crossmember, so one insert on each side of that LH bushing. Hope this helps. Thanks!
Rick
Does anyone know the torque setting for these nuts?
Fitment on 2015+?
Nice video,
I have some question that I need to replace my rear diff bushing since its start to torn out. So with this insert so do i need to take old one out?

Question, now since more force & moment goes toward the subrframe now, would it leave damage in long term? Thanks
***** Thank you!
Which exhaust system is that?
I noticed the camera vibrates a lot more with them installed... how much does this mod add to NVH?
A bit, but really it's not too much. Might have been the mounting for the camera.
Thanks,
Rick
Not bad at all it's the NVH you want.
No torque specs or instructions
Music??????
Would this kit fit the 2015+ wrx/sti? Thank you
+MrDefining No unfortunately they are not confirmed to fit the 15+ STI
Thanks,
Rick
I bought it anyways haha. It fits my 2016 STi.
