- In this video I will walk you through setting up triple screens for iRacing without the use of Nvidia Surround or AMD Eyefinity. This will be compatible with all overlays and will give the appearance of fullscreen across all three monitors.

Wow, I have been on iRacing for 7 months and just dealt with my triples not lining up perfectly. I have messed around with all sorts of setting changes however, my problem was fixed by lining up the 3 monitors properly within Display Settings. I have never seen this mentioned on any other video. THANK YOU!

I have a qestion, see if you can help me. I have my primary samsung tv 50 4k resolution and I'll get 2 new monitor samsung g30 24, I want to know if i can use the extra 2 monitors in portrait view and keep tv in landscape mode, can some good soul help me?
My side monitors do not line up with the center... they have a slight zoom ... As the cockpit lines draw on to the side monitors the bottom of the frame is slightly lower and the top above the opening is slightly higher than the center monitor. So there is no way to adjust a monitor up or down to compensate. What setting would control that?
I run windows at 3840x2160 on 3 32" displays but would like to run iRacing in 1920x1080 w/ 3 displays so my overall resolution in iR is 5760x1080. When I run iR with this resolution the entire screen is not taken up since Windows is running 3840x2160 on each display. Is there a way around this without running windows in the 1920x1080 mode in order to get the full screen to work?

Can this be applied to using 2 screens as opposed to 3? I have one big screen and I'd like to be able to see out the right side on the 2nd smaller screen (is that even possible?)

This is not working for me. It’s still stuck on one screen. Not sure why I followed it exactly
so my friend spent ages setting this up for me and it randomly reset any idea why
Loved these helpful videos and you make it seem so simple, before I got iracing last year I watched most of your how to videos twice and made starting iracing a lot easier
Again awesome video on setting up triples. In the previous video you also went through setting up the view from the car relating to the horizon if i remembered correctly. Is that still the ideal thing to follow up with? 😊👍🏾👏🏾🙏🏾

You missed one important setting .... DriveUIFullScreen=0 ... change this to 1, and you can move the UI boxes onto the side monitors.
Yeh indeedy very handy. Got a short video coming really soon on all things overlays. Wanted to keep the videos focused on just the job at hand
just use the shortcut Ctrl + K
i have problem with my screen, trying to do it with out use the Nvidia surround, if i do my screens har blikning :/

Does anyone know how to help me with Iracing? I do everything correctly, it opens the three screens normally, but when it finishes loading it returns to a single screen, and the file returns to the original as if I were using a monitor

I can't find the render file 😢 maybe because i downloaded in steam?
Do you use Steam? I made the changes for iRacing including.. turned off surround. iRacing is fine, but Steam will not work on three screens now..
I do use steam, games like ACC, Rennsport, F1 and rFactor 2 etc and I don’t use a Nvidia Surround for any of them. Each has there own configs to span the screens. Never been a fan of Nvidia Surround.
@@Sampsoid thanks for the quick response.. I'll look into setting up steam without Surround. Earlier when I tried, it would not give me the option to set three monitors. I most likely did something wrong..lol

Correct. The web members area is going away soon anyway so will mean we only need to manage one file going forward.

Any fix on getting back to windowed borderless after pressing alt enter?
Press alt enter again should help or manually edit the ini to your info and making fullscreen 0 again
What's the advantage of this setup as opposed to using Surround?
Nvidia surround seems to kill fps in my experience
For the RendererDx11 file I only have one
And it’s the Monitor.ini. I’ve done everything else you have and when I launch the game it only appears on one out of the three monitors
I've always used Nvidia surround and never had a problem. Am i doing it wrong?
I have personally never liked Nvidia surround on triples. Windows becomes a lot more difficult to use and simple things like sharing your screen in discord becomes something so wide that nobody can see it. I always set up every game to span the 3 screens by themselves.
So my center monitor is good but my side monitors are not lining up properly

What file are you missing? rendererDX11Monitor is the file used by the iRacing UI which nowadays with the web being shutdown is the only file you need to change.
I don't get it, I've tried everything and watched every video, but in the end I have to end up stretching the windows to get it to show on all 3 screens. Is it not suppose to just automatically load up on all the screens?
Yes it will automatically fill all your screens. Have you made sure iRacing is closed when you make the change and save it?

I don’t know if this is what did it but i went from 56fps to 140fps with a 3060.
Do a 3060ti works fine on a triple 24” 144hz?
I run triple 32” monitors on a 3060ti and get around 150 frames on ultra settings!
What app do you open the notes in? Thanks
It’s just Notepad. In Windows 11 it looks a little different and I’m using Windows dark mode.

No but I would advise you change the resolutions to match otherwise it will end up looking rather odd.

Thank you for the update! I am switching from Surround to no Surround. The only prob I found is that the user interface spans across the entire three monitors (Garage/Options/quit are way to the right corner and the entries/laps/info are at the right edge). Any way to have it showing only in the middle monitor?

I’ve been using this all day every day for 4 months. All the sudden mid race it just went away. Now I can’t get it to work again.
Thats weird. Make sure if you are going to edit the ini that iRacing is closed. If this doesn’t work. Make a backup of the ini. Delete it and start iRacing up. Jump in the car and then close the sim. Now edit your details in the ini and you should be good to go
@@Sampsoid I did have to totally re do it and it’s been fine. But how strange and if you search it does happen to people. Middle of a practice session , hundreds of hours without a single issue , and as I’m driving the sim just goes to my center monitor mid lap and the ini file upon inspection is totally back to normal pre triple monitor setup.

What if you have the center monitor a 27" 1440p and the two side screens are 24" 1080p? What changes need to be made or will it not work? I don't care about the border if that helps.
finally got it working!! after many vids and banging my head on the wall it is working. Not perfect and I will tweak it from here. I do have a little over lap on my left monitor, any suggestions what this might be from. Thank you again!
I made all the changes in the ini file however iRacing only shows up on middle monitor. In the Grapgic settings of iRacing I can not get it to change from 2560x1440 to 7680x1440. It just stays on 2560. Any ideas?
