Panasonic will release a major Firmware Update for the Lumix S5 II and Lumix S5 II X.
This new Update will enable proxy recording, Frame.io connection, Animal Eye Autofocus and many more.

All these features for a camera that cost less then 2k. It's around the same price as the Sony a7ii and half the price of a Sony a7iv. Hands down Lumix is the better camera for its price and relseing great firmware update

My camera is showing 'proxy cannot be performed because recording medias are different'. any idea?

I had the same problem you need to use the same cards- same brand and capacity etc.

@@pauleporterdp yes becasue point of proxies is for large file size and if they only add for some lower 4k modes and not 6k whats the point yk

I think the problem at open gate is that it needs too much processing power and writing a compressed video file from the raw signal is already processing intensive on its own.
I think if they could have done they would have implemented it.
So this is then a processor limitation.
