@@NextLevelRacing I've got my 2.0 stand loaded up with far more hefty equipment now than when I started (200kg load cell brake and 25nm SC wheel) .. I'm very tempted to get the GT Seat add on to increase rigidity - It'd certainly be far more economical than buying a complete profile rig.
The stand by itself holds up surprisingly well with this level of gear, though I'd like to find a solution to minimize flex in the pedal board from heavy braking. Maybe some wood chocks between the board and the lower support bars would help?
I bought the wheel stand 2.0 a month or so ago. Feels like I’m in a cockpit now! Eventually I will buy this to make it a real cockpit. But until then since I’m short on space, I’ll keep using the 2.0.

Same situation. Wheel stand works great from sofa for now and its not too heavy to deadlift to other room after use :P

I wish there was an option to only buy the frame without the chair or only the frame and the sliding mechanism. This way you have the option to buy your own chair.
One webshop here does sell an option without the chair (but with the sliding mechanism), but it has the wheel stand DD included, which I already own.

@@chaosreunited In my case that would mean less bundled product sales in stead of no extra sales, as the situation is currently.
As it's not a chair I like and thus not attractive to me. I'd now just go for a complete rig to replace the stand when I have more space.

Can you put it to the team to consider selling just the add on bracket with slider? I recently purchased ws 2.0, would love to have add on later but would like option of putting on other seats such as the es1 you recently released.

I just found out that wheel stand is upgradeable. I'm def gonna pick one up once I have more room.

you just buy the seat mount for the Wheel Stand? I have a bad back and I need to be able to pick a seat I would be comfortable. I don't think the GT seat would be good for my back.
I'd like to keep the seat add-on loosely attached to the wheelstand in order to be able to save some space when required.So if guests come over the seat could be used as a regular seat while the wheelstand 2.0 sits folded in a corner.
However in the video it says to only fully tighten the bolts holding the seat once the wheelstand is connected. So I'm wondering if above scenario is even possible. What would happen if I dismounted the wheelstand quite regularly?
Hi there! Great question. If you didn't blot the seat fully, the Wheel Stand would eventually move away and you'd have to constantly reshuffle it into position. This happens due to pushing on the brakes. You can always loosely bolt it together just enough so that they do not move apart, that could work. But we do advise completely and fully bolting them together for the best experience.
I bought the wheel stand 2.0 today. Ca you tell me if i bought the add-on seat what dimension will have the entire setup?
Can i buy the bottom bit no seat as i dont want it
Wish there was a quick connect/disconnect between the seat and the stand for storage purposes
Hi there, great question. The GTSeat Add-on unfortunately is removed by uninstalling the six bolts that hold the GTSeat Add-on to the Wheel Stand. The Wheel Stand 2.0 by itself can then fold up and be stored separately. Thank you for your feedback, we have passed your suggestion onto the R&D Team for a quicker solution.
Is it possible to dettach/unscrew the metal frame that is under the seat and just leave the seat with the universal sliders?

Which monitor stand do you guys recommend to this? I bought the Lite Free Standing Monitor Stand but that was to low so I had to raise it up with things a had home.
I bought the WS DD a little over a month ago and love it. Can’t wait for this product to come to Canada! Any idea if a date?

The GT Seat Add-on is available in Canada at the end of April/start of May, so keep an eye on your closest reseller!

Hey NLR, Im in the market for a GT seat addon for my WS 2.0 but I would like to buy the frame only, I know you have raised this with the product team several months ago has there been any movement since then? the price is pretty steep for the Addon and Im trying to save money using a old secretlabs chair I already own

I bought the separate castor wheels for the Add-on, I assembled the GTSeat Addon, slided it to my Wheel stand DD...and the holes in the GTSeat Add-on don´t line up with the Wheel stand DD screw threads...I just can´t put 2 of them that go from the top at all...

Are you able to still use a shifter after stacking the hand brake mount? I was looking to pair my sequential shifter and hand brake
This will depend on the size of the shifter/handbrake combination you are looking to use! Do you have any more info?

Hi there, the Wheel Stands that are compatible with the GTSeat Add-on are the Wheel Stand DD, and the Wheel Stand 2.0.
Can this be connected to the flight stand? Also how quickly can you attach and detach the stands?

@@NextLevelRacing alright. Is there any other way of connecting a seat to both the flight stand and a racing stands? I want to be able to have one rig with a steering wheel aswell as a yoke, and i thought i could do this by having 1 seat and switching out the stands to switch between flying and racing. Any way of doing this?
I own the wheel stand 2.0, im thinking about upgrading. Is there a way to adjust the high of the chair, it looks like its pretty low for me.

Does the seat slide back and fourth?
It's been 2 months since this was announced and I can't find any retailer in France that has it in stock (or even in the whole world really). I fully understand that covid makes it tricky for you guys but I was just wondering when could we realistically expect to buy this ?

The shifter mount on my WS2.0 is very loose no matter how I tighten making shifting on my Clubsport shifter unbearable, how sturdy is the one on the chair?

But honastly at the moment i'm leaning towards the next level wheel stand.
Only downside atm is not having the ability to tilt the wheel mount baseplate.
Is there any upgrade available for this?

Hi there! The Wheel stand back half has been discontinued. Currently the Wheel Stands that are upgradable to full cockpits are the WS Racer, WS Lite to challenger, and WS DD with GT SEAT add on.

Hi there! The F-GT Cockpit is not compatible with the GT Seat Add-on. You would need to purchase a Motion Platform compatible rig in order to enjoy motion. The GTtrack, and the upcoming Elite Series both are Motion compatible for example!

Hey NLR, can you raise the seat's height? I feel like this is too low...
I asked about the height from supplier in oz, they mentioned with wheels its 36.5cm, my current kitchen seat I use is ~40cm. so its lower than the normal seat but not by much. I have a disability and just bought the addon seat. will see how it goes when delivery arrives and I set it up..

What is the seat height? If I'm 180cm, at what level will my head be more or less? In the spec, it says 130cm high. Is it really? Currently, on the swivel chair, my eyes are around 110-120, perfect.
Also, if I would like to have lockable wheels, do I need to buy 2 packs or one will be enough? I have Stand 2.0 and plan to upgrade to the whole cockpit but want to keep it mobile. Thanks!
Hi there! You will need 6 castor wheels once it is all attached, 2 for the seat add-on and 4 for the wheel stand.
It is 85cm from where your butt would be to the top of the chair. Hope this helps!

It would be great if this was easily detached so it could still be mobile and stored. Without compromising rigidity of course.
I have my wheelstand 2.0 on casters and using a desk chair, I wonder if you can just put this seat and frame on casters and use the tray that comes with the wheel stand.
@@lildavo87I've concluded the Playseat Trophy is best for me. Because I'm a bit of a gypsy and not knowing what my future living space will be like. This gives me the easy versatility to move my rig daily if I need to.

Don't get the pricing on this. If you buy the Wheel stand 2.0 and this it costs more than one of the full high end Sim rigs from NLR. :)) Please explain.
Hi there! The GTSeat Add-on and the Wheel Stand 2.0 can be combined to create what is essentially the GTtrack Cockpit. These two products are very close in price with the Wheel Stand 2.0 version still having the foldability aspect to it.

Hi there, it is compatible with the GTtrack Frame Only, the F-GT has it's own version called the F-GT Frame Only which is compatible witht the F-GT Seat Add-on.
is there a link to the f-gt sear add-on? while i like the f-gt, the seat gets a bit uncomfortable after about an hour of use. i would love to upgrade the seat to one more comfortable. can you provide me with a link to other seats i can swap?
Hi there, the F-GT Frame Only universal seat brackets are compatible with all major side mounting racing or bucket seats, and include dual locking seat sliders. So you've got a lot of options!

I have the DD Stand(It's Great) and waited 2 years for this seat add on bracket to be released. And now it only comes with a seat!!! Not happy at all since most with the DD stand have invested in a nice racing seat(DX Racer here) which can be attached. So now I must overpay to get the bracket and get a seat I don't need. For me, if they don't have a seat add on frame only option I'm done with NLR.

In terms of the product, we reached out to the community and they expressed they like a solution with the seat and frame for their upgrade path. I will make sure to pass your feedback to the Design Team that you like to see a frame only option for the Wheel Stand DD Seat Add-on.
@@NextLevelRacing I really appreciate the reply and will remain hopeful a frame only option is made available. I noticed from product page packaging is already in place to make that happen.
The accuracy of fit is very poor compared to Wheelstand 2.0. Inaccurate drilling is not possible for the price. You have to rework the connection. Support is very bad. Written several times. No Answer.
