Take Away's for this video: Cold Call process - 10:05 Greeting Keep it short, Hello John this is ... from XYZ - 10:30 Big Claim/Reason for the call The reason for the call we did X for one of your competitor and resulting in increasing Y by Z% in TIMEFRAME To transition to qualifying, use : To be sure I'm not wasting your time let me ask you... - 11:01 Qualify ( Use relevant questions to find out problems, issues that they have and what's their current situation. Get as much data as possible in the shortest period of time ) What are two problems that you are having right now that if I can fix you might actually give me a little bit of cash to fix? Use magic questions: If I can only do half, would you make 5 min for me? (to keep them in communication cause most of the prospects won't believe your big claim.) 12:45 Find out about other decision maker/Influencers: Other than you who else would you like to have involved in making the decision? - 13:24 Close the appointment ( Always Ask for now as first option, create urgency ) Always Offer Options: Can we do that now or later this afternoon? You wanna do 4 o'clock or 5pm? Make sure they are engaged: Do you have a pen handy? Write my name.. - 14:26 Lockdown the appointment Is there any reason you wouldn't be there at 4pm? Short of any third war breaking out, Is there any reason you couldn't attend the appointment? Other take aways: - 20:00 How to get his cellphone(during qualifying): I want to send you information so you can review it and be prepared before our next appointment. Where can I text you this information right now? (Have something ready so send, use headset so you do it while on the call) Text highly increases a deal to convert by 300%.
i dont mean to be off topic but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
Only just found Grant Cardone and loving it! I work as a Recruitment Consultant and cold calling is a massive part of the business! Respect all the way from Edinburgh, Scotland!
Love this material. the only thing i question is stuff like guys making 400 calls a day...come on now. do the math....it takes anywhere from 1-3 minutes for a dial with no contact by the time you dial, the call connects and rings, rings until no one picks up, voice mail comes on, leave quick message, name, call me back number. if you just average 2 minutes a call and you dialed straight through, no breaks, no bathroom, no water, no eating, no breaks, straight on the phone dialing non stop it would take over 13 hours to just dial without talking to anyone going as fast as possible. so i don't come close to buying even 200 calls in a day.
Volume is a big part of the game. But from my experience it's more important how you balance volumes with quality sales calls and qualifications of the leads.
Big Fan, I can't wait to see the results of investing in me. THANK You so much for the commitment to help the Sales Amateur. I believe GC is the nucleus of my best self. Y'all are AMAZING.
I do have a few questions though. What about voicemails? Ay thoughts? Leave them, skip them to amplify the amount of calls? What about good calling times/days? Late afternoon? Morning before lunch?
Really great stuff. I've put together many scripts in my sales career. I've read lots of different cold calling books. I put together my script using your 4 step process and even put together some overcoming objection points from another book I read. I feel like this is the ultimate script I have been trying to make that includes everything. I am going to practice and practice, then make the calls consistently and let you know how it pans out over the month of August. Thanks for the vid!!
First question that will come up from that script is...what’s the name of the competitor? It would put you right on the back foot and trying to recover. Other than that, the script is great!
Hi Mr. cardone. My name is Seth. I wanted to buy your "mastering the cold call information, but it's too costly for me.. I was hoping you'd be able to reach out to me and maybe reduce the price. I really need the information. I know this is a long shot, but I have to try.
Why is he using his full name, I thought the deal was to never use your full name. Its two names," two names they have to remember too confusing too much work" the person on the other end of the phone is already turned off.
+BlkJ19 The two names thing is mainly data protection for employees. I always introduce myself formally as i'm speaking to businessmen and businesswomen.
What about if its a tv show that I want to sale entrepreneurs, paying to be on my show? What type of script, because I have to have them sign on the phone and send contract
Hi Mireille, I consult companies on phone scripts and other areas. If you'd like, forward more details about your show and pay offered ect...and perhaps I can help you create an effective script for your offer. My email is - plush.firm@aol.com. I can also connect you to successful entrepreneurs who may be interested in participating in your show. Let me know if I can help, Brian.
For someone who talks so much about cold calls it seems like you are taking social media pretty serious. I own TSMO (The Social Marketing Optimizer) and trust me i dont disagree with the power of cold calls but this just tells you how it really is when you probably spend over 100k on your video budget! social media is the what makes people in 2017
A script should be a guide only, otherwise it doesn’t sound sincere. Industries are small so if a competitor increased their sales by 30% within 3 months you can bet your bottom dollar the competition would know about it. Sounds like the typical spiel you get from overseas call centre scammers and used car salesman, not to mention desperate and pushy. If it works for you then go for it.
Yeah none of this is good enough. Stinks of commission breath, pushy, non trust-worthy. Why not just keep it sinple, lead with problem's you fix. See if they are emtional abour fixing them. Sorted.
Very canned and inauthentic. I get a million calls a week that sound exactly like this, and I hang up on all of them. "we just did a project with a competitor down the road?" Very manipulative and insults my intelligence.. Click.
I stopped at: "there are guys that make 200 phone calls and talk to 3 or 4 people." If you think that cold calling is a numbers game there's no reason to waste time on the rest of the video. Those 3-4 people sold what youre selling themselves, what you need to focus on are people that need convincing. Big thumbs down.
