Good job! (Though we usually have the chopped cabbage and green onion in Japan, too.) If you put the finely minced red ginger/Beni-shoga (紅生姜), it would be more colorful. (Interesting take of putting shrimps. Gotta try.) By the way, you can use the Takoyaki Maker for other dishes -- like pancake balls with chocolate chips inside.
Thank you for watching our video! I used to have lots of タコパ (Takoyaki Party) with my friends and family in Japan growing up; I loved pancake with chocolate or wieners in them; Ajillo was another good one! We did not put beni-shoga in this recipe simply because we did not have an access to it at the moment, but hey it let's you taste dashi in batter much better without being interrupted by the strong smell of ginger and it is delicious! You should try!
@@iwannaeatofficial I see. My son doesn't like ginger, so we set aside it minced to sprinkle on top of the finished たこ焼き. The sausage in pancakes sounds good, too! Oh, one of my friends put a diced Mochi in pancake balls.
very good to sharing from you

this looked so delicious! Takoyaki is my favourite street food :D They chewy octopus and the mayo with takoyaki sauce is amazing! This looked so cool!

That's great! easier than I thought it would be. I bet I could use an aebleskiver pan, which is a bit more available in the US midwest.
Thank you for watching our video! That’s the first time we’ve heard of an aebleskiver pan. We haven’t tried it but that should work!

Mochi in pancake is an interesting idea! We'll try it out!
