Thank you! It's still so popular because there really hasn't been anything created that takes it down from the top in the deckbuilding/roguelite genre. There are a lot of great games out there but none of them are as deep and replayable as this.
Agaisnt the slavemaster, sometimes i prefer killing the blue guy first because he reduces my damage by 25% with his debuff, and i feel like this makes the fight longer and harder
Nice to see content still being made on this, appreciate ya man. I'm here to share the love, best character for endless if you literally want to go on forever. I am not down to go for the circlets record, but if you would like to here is the deck. Character: Ironclad Deck: -3 Limit Removal -3 Flex -3 Scrawl -1 Heavy Blow -1 Hand of Greed -1 Necronomicurse 😋 There are a couple relics you cannot pick up for this to work, like the stick, the choker, or the snake eye. As of right now I believe those are the only ones I don't have, and the dang peace pipe that never showed up! I had to hunt shops for every removal due to this, idk what the heck 😂 Couple hundred circlets, floor 400, literally over 10k damage if needed. Under the 15 card limit, 1 turn kills every fight, you could literally climb eternally if you wanted.
Should mention that limit removal doubles what flex gives you but you still only lose 4 per flex at the end of the turn. Not that it matters, you win, there is no end of turn only end of fight 😂
Yo - good vid - would appreciate one for levels 3 and 4, as well as vids about bosses, and more about events Also would be interesting to hear what you have to say about some of the harder hallway fights - the writhing mass, the snake plant and the chosen seem to cause me the most trouble
Would also be interesting to hear what order you recommend fighting the shapes in. I normally go exploder > repulsor > spiker but by that point the spikers have mad thorns up. By that point either I've got block scaling in place or I can take them down by passive damage but would be interesting to hear your thoughts
Levels 3 and 4 definitely coming. and I'd like to do long videos about each individual boss too. I'd probably include the spaghetti monster (writhing mass) in as a "should be elite but it actually isnt" just because of how crazy the fight can be. I'm planning to start a "shorts" series on each of the regular baddies, and snake plant and chosen would be there too.
I usually go the same route with the shapes, however it's all dependent on the deck i'm using. I do typically try to go for exploder first, but if it's a really aggressive deck then going for spiker can hurt a bit early on but saves a ton later when they have huge thorns.
I’ve had to put a hold on producing heavily edited videos for a few months with work and classes taking up all of my time. looking to pick things back up in the coming months, glad you’re liking the vids
Caw Cawww! Do you typically fight the red mask gang or give them your gold?
Always! I tend to hoard too much gold up to the third act
@@toyota.corolla you should fight it most of the time
No 😂 i am wimp
Gold or death!!
Fight those punks
It's nice to find Slay the Spire tip videos that aren't 1-3 hours long each
Hope they're useful for you!
@@3hourgames the irony of 3 hour games is good
I like the concise nature of your breakdown! Been using Baalor's videos a lot lately but they take a bit of time to digest so this is nice
Glad they're good for you! I enjoy Baalor's content a lot myself.
I really surprised, that StS is still popular and worth videos. Cool guide!

His Gremlin Leader: Well, 1 minion is not enough. I should summon more...
My Gremlin Leader: Haha, dagger does 13*3
:( Happens WAY too often. Gremlin Leader really requires you to control the fight or it gets out of hand.
Love you keeping 7 gold to fight the bandits 😂
It’s MY GOLD!
Also the red mask is incredibly useful for the enemies that hit hard off the rip and for stripping artifact.

that seems to be the community consensus. I don’t know if MegaCrit ever explicitly stated.
