I`ve just learned that Cacao can have massive health benefits for us all. I`ve just bought some and found your recipe for making a drink. If i use a natural homegrown honey to sweeten would the natural built in properties of organic honey be destroyed in the warming process or would they remain unaffected? Thank you.

    • @FromScratchFast

Hi there! If you want to preserve the properties of the honey, add it after the cacao is made, once it's cooled slightly. You can also swap out the honey for maple syrup. I hope you enjoy!!

I had to use 1⅓ cups evaporated milk and ⅔ cup almond milk, that's all I had.
Added a bit of ground espresso powder and ground cinnamon stick with powdered sugar. With the vanilla extract, honey, and the pinch of sea salt I shook it in an airtight container and then put it into the pan and warmed it, stirring all the while. I did have to add more almond milk when I served it, but it will keep in the fridge too.
Thank you for this video, it's excellently done.

Several medical publications? Ayurveda doesn't need to be disproven, it needs to prove itself. Which it fails to.It's called the burden of proof. Just take a look on it's wiki article for soucres if you want "Although laboratory experiments suggest it is possible that some substances in Ayurveda might be developed into effective treatments, there is no evidence that any are effective in themselves.[88][89] Cancer Research UK states that there is no evidence that ayurvedic medicine helps treat cancer in people, and some Ayurvedic drugs contain toxic substances or interact with legitimate cancer drugs in a harmful way.[17]
Ayurvedic medicine is considered pseudoscientific because it confuses reality and metaphysical concepts, and because its premises are not based on science.[4][3] Ethnologist Johannes Quack writes than although the rationalist movement Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti officially labels Ayurveda - like astrology - a pseudoscience, these practices are in fact embraced by many of the movement's members.[5]
A review of the use of Ayurveda for cardiovascular disease concluded that the evidence is not convincing for the use of any Ayurvedic herbal treatment for heart disease or hypertension, but that many herbs used by Ayurvedic practitioners could be appropriate for further research.[90]
Research into ayurveda has been characterized as pseudoscience. Both the lack of scientific soundness in the theoretical foundations of ayurveda and the quality of research have been criticized.[4][91][92][93]

Cacao is the less refined version of Cocoa. Basically dark chocolate in natural form with no sugar or whatsoever.

If you exceed 40°C honey losses of all nutritional properties and vitamins,... That's not what you want, The bees worked too hard to destroy it in stupid cocoa in the end... I see people are giving away idiotic recipes that don't really contain the real meaning of eating food... Instead just replace it with sugar.

I think honey retains all of its properties when it's mixed in off-heat.
