As an Australian driver in Germany I was hugely impressed with the discipline and adherence to road rules by German drivers. They are excellent drivers who take pride in being the best drivers they can be. Not like the ignorant unskilled and incapable idiots that we have on the roads in Australia. It comes down to the national attitudes in general. I found Germans to be fiercely competitive at every thing they did. Near enough was not good enough. They always did their best. Wonderful country.
When I'm driving aroung the Hunter Region in NSW (has one of the highest rates of road death) and I see the rank stupidity and dangerous driving EVERYWHERE in the region, I try to remember that these dreadful dangerous drivers probably aren't air traffic controllers or commercial airliner pilots. It's some small comfort.

It's so rare that a video of a car driving on the Autobahn requires you to put on your headphones and turn up the volume. The lack of wind and road noise is the most impressive part of this video. Kudos!

This is posh. The exterior is so sexy in black, witch makes the blue leather inside unusual and awesome beautiful. Ride comfort is beyond my belief of possible, smooth and quiet even at 240 kmh. Accelerated like a fast sportscar, and i can imagine the top speed to be in super car territory. I like good car stereos, imagining how good the high end equipment will sound in the silence of this car....
Thats the infrared LED's for the drowsiness monitoring system, you can't see them in real life as they fall outside a humans visual wavelength range. It just happens that most cameras do actually pick up that wavelength too if they dont' have an infrared filter on them.
I thought they were lane departure warnings - the car being so wide that even the slightest movement off-centre prompts the car to warn you that you're a little close to the white line on that side of the road!

When it can make 200km/h virtually silent, I don't really care if it can do 300km/h! There's less urgency to reach your destination when progress is so serene - just put the cruise control on and waft to your destination.

J'observe sur autoroute que les branches du volant ne sont pas horizontales. L'angle semble le même que sur mon véhicule. Lorsque vous vous engagez dans une bretelle de sortie, j'observe un court instant que lorsque les branches du volant sont horizontales le vehicule continue sa trajectoire vers la droite. Le remarquez-vous pendant la conduite ? D'après mon concessionnaire il n'y a pas de problème. A l'état neuf ce n'était pas observé avant les premiers remplacements des pneumatiques... merci pour cette balade en Rolls ! Une première pour moi.

That's honestly a lot louder that I expected it to be, despite some of you thinking it's quiet. There's a lot of wind and road noise. I expected it to be barely a whisper, considering there should be no drivetrain noise and the wind/road should be really heavily dampened by multi-pane glass and lots of deadening. The fact you can hear the motor on the electrical door close, the daft wake up noise, plus a number of other annoying little noises you just dont expect with the brand, im surprised they accepted these at Rolls Royce, i do like the car though, the back especially, the interior will be amazing as usual, for me Rolls and Bently make the nicest interiors in the business, pure luxurious both visually and the high end materials.

IR light used to check where your eyes are looking (for safety). Only shows on camera, the light is not visible to human eyes.
