Her needing the bifrost because she can't teleport without it was half the plot of the movie. Jesus tapdancing Christ on a pogo stick, pay attention. The tiny green puff wasn't her using a power she DEFINITELY, UNQUESTIONABLY DOES NOT HAVE, it was the magical equivalent of blood spatter when someone gets mowed down by a 60,000 pound tractor-trailer.
Even if she did survive - which she didn't - they say a billion times that her power is tied to Asgard. Which is why Surtr was the solution, with his prophecy to destroy Asgard. Asgard is destroyed. So even if she wasn't dead, she's still dead. *Deal with it*
