I always like to think that Thor being trapped by Surtur for so long is what changed his personality so drastically. Stuck with nothing but his thoughts and a skeleton

To be honest this whole fight scene looks like an Avengers type of situation and Thor handled it by himself.

Mjolnir circling around thor was one of the coolest things I have seen in marvel series. Still gives goosebumps
