Why can´t we, just be cleaner with the towels on lodging showers, trying to be clean, dry after you washed thoroughly? Keeping yr self healthy, decent. Never throw towels to the toilets, or garbage bucket. Ssome of us carry our own towels, sandals. Lets be different from now on.

So I actually asked this question to a TH-cam economist and he said that there is actually a shortage, the issue isn't a surplus it's a retention issue because turnover is almost 100%. So, in a nutshell, this job as a profession is so shitty that employees will play musical chairs with employers to make the maximum amount of pay and avoid bs.

I think it's more probable that the government doesn't have accurate data or the data is outdated and their projections are incorrect. Things aren't always black and white. I do think they should respond publicly to criticism like this though instead of just sweeping mistakes under the rug.
