These cdl school don't train you to drive a truck they tell you that upfront before you pay them. They tell you they are only going to show you what you need to know to pass your test to get your cdl nothing more nothing less.

I know some drivers who use Garmin and they say that they work pretty well.
Your brain > Trucker Path > Garmin > Google maps, worst case. Don't forget the good ol' road atlas.
