You're taking care of Big 🔴 and she's taking care of you. Poor 1st class. It's so much involved with having ⛽🥞🧀🥩 food not counting the delivery of just house hold goods. And we don't even have to get dirty. Workers has to get paid. 🚜 Equipment needs ⛽. Insurance. So much is involved. When thinking about the prices. Has to think about people like you and others. Who makes sure that we. That's good because I'm not doing it. B SAFE SCHIMDT 🚜
Oh geez kurt. I'm on my way home from washington and texted my wife and told her to watch how you clean, maybe she can learn something. Must have bad service here, she hasnt gotten back to me yet.
As long as you are doing what the boss wants it’s fine. Cleaning seems to be important to him which is good. Some farmers don’t care and their equipment shows it. That is probably the reason he has gotten so big. At least one of the reasons. That is as hard in the oil patch as it is on the farm. You seem to be moving ok which is a major plus. Keep working on it and don’t hurry the healing process. God bless and havagudun.
Kurt, I’m fascinated with these videos. Of course, I like your regular trucking videos, too. But my husband and I were interested to know, how many acres of sileage does this guy harvest each year? When you do your long shots, it seems to go on FOREVERRRRR!!!
I didn't think I'd see Schmidt in a day-cab let alone an automatic. I do understand the reasons but it's not all that hard to drive a manual! How many rows wide is the chopper and are there other heads that can be used on the JD 8700?
Pops was always buying/selling/trading farm equipment, so our silage deal varied year to year...sometimes we did cutter-to-truck same as you are doing. Other times our cutter had a mounted dump box, or pulled a dump box behind.
Cleaning equipment is part of good maintenance. You could keep a jug of washer fluid and a small squeegee with you if the windshield gets too bad so you could make a quick clean. Please stay safe, and God bless.
@truckingwithschmidt7120 You might want to get a squeegee with a telescoping handle. I had the advantage of being able to sit out the window. I don't think that would work for you. You could dump the fluid on when you're getting out the door and squeegee from the ground. Farm pitstop style.
Well them cows are too busy getting their bellies full they don't have time to move back at you but I'm sure some of them would you have nothing else to tell you they're hungry
Thank u for another great video I always wanted know how the farm system works so not only do I get trucking education I'm getting some farm education to thank u sir
That's different automatic transmission well one thing he knows you take good care of equipment like the farming videos how's back doing and family now people get to see what goes into farming this is the result from a seed he planted in the spring and went through the weather good are bad you are showing us the results keep posting even just to say hi cause you turn into friends after a while down to earth person and family take care my friend if he gets corn to make feed out of let them know the moisture content and if have to dry people don't know it's a cost to farm hard work for some hopefully decent money they have a lot of responsibility on there shoulders ill wait for next post figured must be busy thanks Kurt

It's definitely a change, but I do miss FirstClass.

I think it was over 300 acres, but don't hold me to it. I don't really ask many questions
How many acres of corn did you chop up?
The big question, are you liking what you’re doing ?
I'm enjoying the farm footage Kurt👍👌
I always love your videos no matter what they are.
Thank you
Kurt I enjoy your farming videos. I'm sure you'll be back in the truck soon. Most importantly to take care of your back first.
It’s a travesty putting mayonnaise on a perfectly good ham sandwich.
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍🏻💪🏼

Just think about the farmers back in the day doing it by hand. lol Thanks for sharing, Kurt
It doesn't take long to fill a truck when you are chopping 10 rows. That is a lot of material going thru that machine.
Thanks for sharing any footage of a beautiful farm, also worth mentioning you need to talk at a higher pitch when you’re talking to cows…
Just a trucking thought. If you have to go go, are you like the Bear in the Woods ? Kurt in the Corn ?
I have the same problem as you Kurt, I love having my truck clean inside and out
Hope you're going to get some good steaks out of this. Thank God you guys were west of Hurricane Helene.

That's a good idea, Heather.

My bad it's a 8000 thought it was a nine thousand ford watch your back with them tires twist wrong and be in pain again 17:29 17:29
One thing for sure is, I have never seen corn go into the combine like this before.
Those new choppers are amazing, what they chop in an hour would take us all day with the one row chopper and tractor
Thank u for another great video I always wanted know how the farm system works so not only do I get trucking education I'm getting some farm education to thank u sir
I wish I could fill you in on more, I just don't know anything other then what I'm doing
@@truckingwithschmidt7120 u already show so much already and do wonderful job
You're doing an awesome job Kurt and see you next time
Wow, that is next level harvesting!!!
Where's your safari hat to keep the sun off your head.
Good morning Farmer Kurt❤❤.
Just curious, does that chopper have auto steer?
Kurt
Luv that old Ford!
On a Sunday??? Hell No!!!!
Safe. drivies😊
Do they make fun of you on the farm for the cleaning compulsion? I'd be in the same boat Im afraid. Todd the retired trucker.
Just a tad
What???
☸️
❤😊👍
how many acres planted on the farm?
No clue. That's just one of those questions I don't ask.
