- It's The Road to Master Ruler, and everybody's going into heat! Brian's been going into heat the whole time he's been learning Tekken, and still has no idea what that actually means. Maybe the game will have a convenient tutorial to teach him! Or maybe it will be a Tekken game.

I think hes missing the deathfists because you cannot buffer the qcf moves. Paul needs to fully return to neutral to input the crouch dash/qcf.

I'm a Street Fighter guy through and through, but really enjoying this series. The opening prologue is great, sets an amazing tone, and really contributes to my understanding and enjoyment.
The series could use a spreadsheet though. In fact, forget fighting games, I want to see competitive spreadsheet Brian_F.
I don't know how far into the future we are from this video recording, but if I had to hazard a guess, you're missing the death fist input after the low because you're starting the input a bit too early. Pressing down in your recovery frames will eat up the quarter circle motion

Hey Brian, paul has a super evasive shoulder that dodges a lot of pressure. F 2+3 or F 1+4 one of those. Shredder kicks are awesome when you think a low is coming. Also trooper roll is sick ff4 if you do it when they are waking up with any kick other than spring kick it resets.

Generally you can punish that with a the correct launcher - hop kicks are across the board everyone’s default rage art punish. But you can also get guaranteed damage with a grab since they can’t break them specifically after rage arts.

Remember to get into Heat!
Try using QCF 1 (on block) into DF2 setup, also df4 into df2 works in similar fashion. (works only with they press high attack or jab) It can help you reach the orange ranks really fast. Also, incorporate more throws into your gameplay.
Yeah, the closer to death you are during rage art you do more damage.

Still getting used to the heat system. So far so good. Mostly getting used to the feeling of the controller while running forward. Keeping it in my head that you can do the command and just hold forward.
