The sheer amount of time a "watch this" situation happens in this game is simply beautiful
nothing hurts more than finally bringing a set back against someone who's beating you. Then they just do an armoured super and take a 3rd of your health in the final round.

Orange/red ranks are where those who‘ve begun Tekken with this one struggle.
I main Lee (really difficult character, but his mixups and combos are really satisfying to pull off) and I‘m currently in red-ranks, made it to Shinryu, but got demoted due to close calls.
This is the most fun I‘ve ever had in online Tekken, keep up the good work, Brian!

There are so many moments where just learning better combos will help Brian get some easy W's, I think it's time to hit the lab for a little bit of optimization. Especially on these wall combos!

Orange-Rank Gatekeepers. Yup. I am currently facing those. I am in Dominator rank, and cannot get past it. I get knowledge checked to death. It's rough, but I will get past it sooner or later.

Yo, I see you're liking the 2+4~b grab on Paul, let me introduce you to Paul's f,f+1+2 grab. Use it when your opponent's back is against the wall for a full wall combo. This shit is basically cheating against players who can't break throws.
Learning 10 strings is fun. Paul's is super simple to do. Paul has 3 variations. Variation 1 has a low at the 5th hit. Variation 2 has the low at the 6th hit. Variation 3 has no low if I remember correctly. In short, all 10 strings are gimmick moves. Bunch of high and mids followed by an unsafe low that usually staggers into the rest of the string. If you see one, just block and look for the low. After you find it, the 10 string is worthless. Most strings do not introduce a 2nd low. 10 strings are good mind game tools, because everyone knows you're not supposed to use them. Lol, similar to doing fullscreen shinku hadoukens. But when someone does, it always throws you off guard. Like why!?? You either block/dodge it and be confused or get hit by it and be confused why anyone would actually try that. It's funny.
Side note, Yoshimitsu has a really telegraphed 10 string but it ends in an unblockable so try and interrupt it or you'll take a nasty chunk.

Brian.. ten strings are predictable. they have highs and lows in the same spots. You just need to know where to duck and punish the high hits, or block the low, and if I recall correctly the final move in the string is pretty much always unsafe.
Lab Victor one good time I promise his antics won’t be a issue for you anymore Victor players have to really play Tekken against you with him….my only struggle with him is that 1+2 grab that shit catches me all the time cuz my throw breaking isn’t the best

btw has anyone run into the issue of heat burst not doing anything upon activation? I've ran into 4 or 5 instances now of using it, having the cutscene play, and returning to me and my opponent's characters just standing there perfectly still. Confused. Doing nothing.
Not sure if it made the vid but Joey explained you can activate heat and double-tap backward to not take any action

That or just know where the low is it’s usually highly punishable or low parry it…especially when it’s a mirror match he should be able to anticipate it easier

Why does that punch do so much damage ?
It's very easy to side step and it can be punished on block if your character has a long reach 16f launcher. It's primarily just a combo ender but it can be used as super high risk high reward mix up tool
It does alot because he's one of the strongest tekken character in lore and in game 😊 but actually what bro said is good too
Never forget that he not only shattered a Boulder with that punch, he also beat some alien ass because he felt like it.
