as a introvert i personally like solo travelling do what i want to do usually spend 4 to 5 hours walking around a city discover the real vibe of a asian city. i do not do restaurants feels uncomfortable . as a solo traveller who do not have to worry about how your friend/friends are feeling about doing wgat you want to do.
Absolutely agreed, being able to set your own pace is so liberating as an introvert. I can always go back to the hotel when my battery runs out. I don't even make plans, I just choose what I want to do when I want to do it. Which is usually just walk around lol
I'm exactly the same but at the age of 48 and about to spend 3 months solo traveling around SEA I'm also a little bit worried/nervous, especially in bars and restaurants.
I am 65 . . And still loving my solo holidays. . I eat mostly light street food. And nothing better enjoying a strong flat white watching the world go buy in a new city .
@@OpoOnTheGoI used to worry about eating out alone but I’ve seen others doing it so it doesn’t bother me any more. I don’t enjoy going travelling with a friend as like this lady I don’t like to compromise. I have a plan of places I want to see.
Very encouraging for solo travelers, great interviews, as always. These particular people that you interviewed today really had a lot to offer about their feelings! Love that you are so humble and didn't cut off the gentleman that said he knew how to say hello to locals, and tell him, you already know how to say it too 😊 you are very kind. You show a lot of compassion with people if they say they've had trouble in different areas and just seems like your channel is thriving. Keep up the great work. 🎉
You know, sometimes a comment like this can make my whole day better ❤️ thank you so much! I hope I can entertain you with my videos for much longer 🤗 thanks again!
Thanks for another interesting video Chai. l hope you and Noona enjoyed the nature in Laos. I've travelled around Europe in my teens. l backpacked around the Greek Islands in my 20s. Travelling Sri Lanka, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam were all amazing and the best education you can give yourself (personally l like travelling with other people). Tc 😊
That’s nice of you to say 😁 thanks! Yeah, I also do love it both but, now with Noona, I don’t like solo for too long anymore 😊 thanks for watching again🏆
Ik dacht dat ik altijd de enigste was die hier nog steeds na een jaar soms zo achterlijk deed zweten, zie de druppels van je gezicht druipen dat verklaard genoeg hahaha 🤣🔥

Just great 👌 - Solo is good - plenty of freedom , solitude moreso than loneliness - Thanks my friend ✔️👍✌️🤩👋🙏
Solo is great mate 😃 freedom and also you get to meet a lot more people when you roam alone :) good on you 🙏
As always I said Philippines is underrated ❤
Thanks Chai, great to hear different perspectives from other solo travelers 👍🇦🇺
Ey Jack! Thanks again champ 🏆😃
🎤 I always enjoy your street interviews. Solo travel or with a companion are both great and have their benefits.

Im consider myself enjoying be alone, but I terms of travel, my experience it's much more better go with somebody
"If you are lonely when you're alone, you are in bad company."
- Jean-Paul Sartre
Btw why the worst ? Didn't see anyone unreasonable.
Nah I think there’s also none. Maybe eating dinner alone? 🤷♂️
@Chai_Travel not even, at least not for me. I even enjoy eating out alone, probably that's why I am overweight 😅
Haha 😝

Who's the good looking guy who you interviewed last? 😅
Haha! Is that you is he?! 😜
