It was nice to hear a wife’s perspective on a husbands life of hunting…it’s easy to get locked in on your goals and loose sight of bigger picture items, I have done it a few times myself….I know my wife has shared the same sentiments as yours over our last 13 years of marriage and I will be more mindful when planning our future adventures. My wife is coming to run dogs with me this weekend. I’ve been gone for 2 days from the house running dogs. It’s a give and take for sure. We use to hunt together all the time but our 3 kids slowed that down too. Granny and mammaw make it possible for us to hunt together a few times a year. 14 years married and counting.
