I’m 47, never been married and no kids, so I get to go when I want to. But for 17 years I didn’t because I got addicted to pain killers and was in a battle for my life. Well I’ve been clean 3.5 years and back doing what I love - hunting!! And since I started back hunting like I use to I’ve killed a decent buck every year since I started back. I started Turkey hunting last year and killed my first bird on Mississippi public land. I grew up hunting with my uncle and at age 28 after knee surgery I just went down the wrong road. No telling how many bucks I would’ve killed. I still hunted some here and there but not like now when I’ve got my life back. And maybe I’ll find me a good wife, but until then I’m hunting my butt off. It’s in my bones, it does something that nothing else in this world does, it’s an instinct. Watching you and Sandy and Daniel, that’s clean , authentic living. I appreciate y’all. You and Sandy are great example for young couples. Anyway , enjoyed it as always Jeremy and Sandy! Happy New Year
@@chadfree5577 congrats bud. Hunting is the best healer. Just get in the woods. I thought about starting a channel healing from addiction through hunting
My wife and I have been married 15 years, she started turkey hunting with me last year. We watched this video together tonight. We both cried tonight listening to ya'll and agreed this is who we want to be when our son becomes a man. I met you at the NWTF convention in Nashville this year Jeremy and shook your hand. I just wanted to tell you and Mrs Sandy thanks. Absolutely my favorite show on TH-cam.
Y'all are awsome. My wife and I have been together 25+ years. It's so true - find what you like, what helps you and encourage each other in it. My wife regularly knows when I "need" to hunt. We call it my "therapist." She'll say, "don't you need to see your therapist?" When I'm hunting, she's doing things that refresh her. "An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain." Proverbs 31:10-11
I'm 73 and haven't been able to hunt for 10 years now. Thank you for taking me along for this hunt. You two are the best. Happy new Year and congrats Sandy on the beautiful buck.
You and your wife are 2 of the humblest people I know of other than My Wife and Myself......love to hunt myself and You all mentioned a lot of things that this younger generation has no clue of.....this world has or is becoming an awful place and people in general have gotten away from good ole fashioned morals and common courtesy to one another and that leads to all kinds of good in life. Chivalry does not or hardly exist anymore and that's sad....So I would like to THANK YALL (as we say in TEXAS) For your great videos......Thank You ....God bless and have a great day!
Nice buck and a great video. Proud for y'all. I'm 76 and have been married to the same woman, soon to be 54 years. I started deer hunting the fall after we married in the spring of 1970. Bow hunting is my passion. A close second is long distance back packing. She has never supported my hunting, and hiking, but we are happy. The only thing she protest is if I want to "skewer" one of her backyard deer. Those are hers, so I leave them alone. I taught her early on in our marriage to be self-sufficient and independent because we are not promised tomorrow, and she needs to be able to take care of herself if something happens to me. She can do it and never whines. I love her and her independence and I don't have to worry about her when I'm gone. From Tennessee
I think a lot like you. I tell my wife and kids all the time that I want them to be able to take care of their self. Because I might not be here tomorrow.
Great deer and great dear great advice me and my wife Cookie have been married 53 years and Sandy said it best don’t give up. Thanks yawl and God bless
It takes a special kind of woman to sustain being married to an outdoorsman. Luckily I married a woman that enjoys to hunt and trap as well. We have four children and we include them on our adventures. The advice you give about picking the right partner and giving her some alone time for herself is spot on. The best times I have in the woods are helping either my wife or children. Your videos are the absolute best on the internet! Keep ‘em coming!!
Congratulations Sandy and Jeremy Not only on a successful hunt but a wonderful life together And all of your thoughts and comments are certainly taken to heart And very much appreciated on how to have a successful and happy life together God-bless and happy New Year To my favorite couple on TH-cam
Happy 50th Sandy! That buck, which was a nice one, hit the ground harder at 4' than Sandy did at 12,000'! 😁 I agree with everything you guys said, we've been married for 33 years and we're at a great place in life too. 20 years of a lot of struggles and sacrifices, but there is a light at the end of all of that as long, as you said, you don't give up! My wife plans a trip with her friend to anywhere they want to go when I go to Montana to hunt elk. She's as excited about Sept as I am now. Encourage your wife to get out too. Marriage won't work when it's lopsided! Sandy, keep looking for those thrills and the kills! 😉. Nothing like skydiving! The most exciting part is when the door opens and you're standing on the step to roll out. The next 10,000+ feet is just relaxing and beautiful!
Great job showing how a lot of us live the hunting lifestyle. All the reasons you speak of is why my wife and I have been married for 28 years. Our kids are grown now too and hunting and fishing is what kept us close as a family.
Ms.Sandy strikes again!! If she don’t slow down she’s gonna take over the channel!😂 great job!!! Awesome to see the Mrs’ get out and hit the woods! Bonus that she laid some antler on the ground! Thanks for sharing! Skydiving? What tha? Brave lady! Love it… 120 mph, 14,000 feet? I’ll leave Ms. Sandy to handle that! Takes my breath just watching!
Great buck Ms. Sandy! Preach sister- like anything worthwhile, we gotta put in the work for marriage to work. The DIY Hunter is awesome. But, Ms. Sandy y’all are clearly the iron foundation of the steel that makes the successful hunter. Love to see yall hunt Michigan 2023. God Bless.
I always enjoy your videos but I loved your last two with you and your wife. My wife and I have been together for 32 years and I can totally relate. Thanks for the reminder that we live in the best country in the world, we should be very thankful for that! Thanks for the great videos!
That’s great life advice for couples, thanks so much. But Ms Sandy is remarkable! A great wife, mother, caregiver, hunter, skydiver, and just an awesome zest for life. You are a lucky man Jeremy! Congrats again Ms Sandy on a great harvest!
Nice buck and a good shot. Congratulations. I’m a private pilot and been flying since 1982. I never saw the need to get out of an airplane with a working engine. Lol, glad she enjoyed it and yes, she’s braver than I.
Awesome hunt, and great deer,I'm originally from Tennessee, but I live in Mississippi now it's awesome seeing some good ol country folks, and awesome seeing how close y'all are,it inspires me bcs I'm married and I wouldn't take anything for my wife and kids, congratulations on y'all's relationship and thank y'all for the words of wisdom,God bless yall
So thankful for a channel that uses their platform to encourage people to not only hunt but to travel and in general be really awesome human beings. God bless yall. Awesome buck Sandy. I literally laughed out loud when after you shot him said "bless his heart"
Congratulations,I just stumbled upon this channel a couple weeks ago and I am watching it every day,I am 54 hunt a lot kill 2 to 3 deer a year I have hunted my home state Tennessee from tip to tip but I have never been out of state hunting,Thank you for sharing your adventures
Congratulations on a great hunt and thank you both for sharing your thoughts on a successful marriage. I could not agree more, it’s not easy but if you can weather the storms in life and marriage, when the good times come you know it was all worth it. Keep up the great content!
Me and my wife has been together for 21 years we have 2 kids my son graduates this year my daughter will graduate next years like you said relationships has ups and downs but I can tell you this I stick around for the good times because we have way more good times than bad she loves hunting and fishing just as much as I love it .. congrats on all yalls years together
Congratulations Sandy!! Great buck and a perfect shot. Excellent marriage and relationship advice as well. My wife and I have been married 38 years and through it all she’s always my best friend.
I just started watching your videos the other day and would like to say thank you. Thank you for sharing your life adventures with us! I'm from Wisconsin and am really eager for Sept to start my bow season off. I've learned a lot by watching these videos, so thank you for the advice and your knowledge. I bet you already know, but for those who may not bucks have antlers, not horns. Horns don't fall off but antlers every year do.❤God bless you guys. Melissa 😊
Thats hust hands down a educational video. Yal seem to be awesome people and enjoying life to the fullest. Congrats to a nice buck to harvest. Good job guys
I think I enjoyed the talk at the end more than the hunt. You 2 definitely have something special that some of us only dream of having. Super great buck Mrs Sandy and no way am I jumping out of a perfectly good airplane 😂
I love y’all’s relationship, the world needs more folks like y’all. I’m a new subscriber but have watched a bunch of y’all’s videos in just a few days. Love em!!! We hunt very similar in eastern NC. Can’t wait for more videos!!
I've watched your last two videos (both Sandy) and they made me smile! I like how she was shaking after the shot. I've shot a lot of bucks and I still shake like that!
Good stuff! I enjoy sharing these videos with my wife and I really think she enjoys hearing this stuff also and having someone to relate to and realizing I'm not the only crazy man in the world when it comes to hunting. We have been married for two years and have a one-year-old little boy. I killed one of my best public land bucks when he was less than a month old. I believe most women may not have even been interested in their husband leaving them home with a fresh newborn, but my wife knew he was born two weeks before the most important time of year for me. I stayed home every day and done my duties with little fella and she was happy for me to go hunt when the time came, and it all paid off. Like you said, if you have 5 days of not having 2 of the three factors, do some things around the house and hangout with her so you can go when it comes time.
Happy New Year Y’all ! Happy Birthday Sandy !🎂 You guys are a fantastic couple ! I love the chemistry between Y’all that’s so obvious. The advice Y’all give is spot on too ! Don’t know if I could jump out a perfectly good airplane at 14,000’ ? That takes courage & guts. I’ve been married to same country farm gal for 42 yrs. & love her more now than ever. I’m retired & she is retiring Jan. 2024. Hope we can do some traveling then. She will go hunting with me but doesn’t take any deer. That’s ok with me bc it’s still quality time spent together.we have been empty nesters 11 yrs. now & Jeremy is so right about kids growing up fast. God, family, & hunting in that order for me. Love Your videos & plz keep ‘em coming. God bless Y’all. ❤️🦌🦌🦌
Congratulations Mrs Sandy! I took my wife hunting on 1/1/23 as well. She killed her first deer, it was a 9 point. I tried posting a picture but can’t in TH-cam comments. I actually filmed the hunt and maybe will post it to TH-cam. Love your videos!
Great video guys. So true. My wife is so supportive of me and my hunting and I'm the same for her. Hunting is definitely not her thing, but she'll help me drag, and process, but look out if she spots new shoes! Lol. It's a journey they gets better every day. God bless
I really enjoy these videos of y’all hunting together at home in MS. And the wisdom y’all share on life is PRICELESS!!! Very inspiring. Here’s to health and happiness in ‘23!!
Congratulations from a fellow Mississippi hunter. That's a good buck for our state. The rut is starting down in Silver Creek, MS now. Heading up there tomorrow for the week.
Absolutely love how great you guys get along with all the hunting. My first rule about going outta state to hunt is make sure everything at home is alright and taken care of. Leaving on bad terms with the wife and family only hinders your ability to preform at your best and it’s not fair to either of you.
Not bad for Mrs "Cull buck" Sandy! 😂 Awesome buck. I can't believe the turn around on this video. I appreciate the hard work getting it edited and posted for us!
Great shot again Sandy! Love the channel Y'all. My wife and I are in a similar spot. Youngest is 13 and I'll retire in 2 years. We'll spend more time together. Right now, it's me hunting and her taking trips with our kids. We have animals at home, so it's tough for us to take off together. Great advice, I gotta show this to my wife Sarah. I don't know if she'd hunt with me, but we can't wait till we can travel more together.
Located in Missouri. I look forward to every video you release. I hunt public and private. MO and KS. I look forward to expanding that as my children grow. My 9 year old son has harvested deer th last 3 years. My 6 year old daughter shot her first deer this season. I love chasing the big bucks, but currently enjoy hunting with them more than anything. Keep up the great work!
@@doityourselfhunter9031 I enjoy every moment. Been taking my Boy since he was 18 months old. He’s been with me on 6 buck harvests. A couple with a bow. This was the first year he was able to put the gun up on the rest all by himself. Get the buck in the scope, and execute the shot. I couldn’t be more proud of either of them. Hopefully, keeping them in the outdoors will keep them out of trouble. I wish you and yours, the best of blessings.
Great message! Both videos. I am going on 16 years married and have been lucky, blessed, and fortunate enough to have a wife that allows me to live my passion of hunting. And yes brownie points! You can't ever have enough. Thank you
You have no idea how much I look up to you both! You guys crack me up and are so relatable. I absolutely love the relationship you two have! My husband introduced me to your channel not long ago and I am hooked. I feel like this particular video was meant for my husband and I. We met at bass pro shops where I worked for a few years and he works at our local gun range. Bumped into each other several times until he got my number and started hanging out. We’ve been married now for almost 7 years, together for 11 years. We have 2 beautiful little girls. 5 & 2 years old. We’ve gone through some rough patches with things life has thrown our way but with what you guys said in the end, it choked me up a bit because it makes me realize what an amazing husband I have and sometimes I take things for granted that I shouldn’t. Please don’t stop making these videos together. I enjoy watching every minute. Brings me lots of joy during some tough times. God bless! -Krizia Miami, FL
This is why I love this channel, I just shared it with my wife! God does bless us with everything we need to survive in this world & when you have a great partner to share this world with it makes it that much sweeter! Awesome video guys!
That’s what I’m talking about Mrs.Sandy, I went out today for the last day of rifle season no luck but did get one beginning of November. Time to prep for this year!!
Thank you so much for this video it's the most awesome hunting video that I have ever watched and I watched all of your's videos on do-it-yourself and I'm definitely sharing this with my wife is the best marriage advice that you can give in my opinion love you guys man keep doing what you're doing because we enjoy it

That’s ok with me bc it’s still quality time spent together.we have been empty nesters 11 yrs. now & Jeremy is so right about kids growing up fast. God, family, & hunting in that order for me. Love Your videos & plz keep ‘em coming. God bless Y’all. ❤️🦌🦌🦌
Thanks for sharing your story.
Y'all got some good life lessons to share. Good stuff. 🙏🏼
Appreciate that
Congrats Sandy beautiful buck!
Thanks!
That is a good one. Yall living the dream and having fun, congratulations. Good luck in future.
Thanks!
That's awesome!
Man that’s good stuff. Thanks for all the positivity and encouragement. God Bless y’all!
Thanks!
Great video guys. So true. My wife is so supportive of me and my hunting and I'm the same for her. Hunting is definitely not her thing, but she'll help me drag, and process, but look out if she spots new shoes! Lol. It's a journey they gets better every day. God bless
Yes it does.
I really enjoy these videos of y’all hunting together at home in MS. And the wisdom y’all share on life is PRICELESS!!! Very inspiring. Here’s to health and happiness in ‘23!!
Thanks!
This was an awesome video and awesome advice. Thanks for what you do. Congrats to Sandy on a good buck.
Thanks!
Congratulations from a fellow Mississippi hunter. That's a good buck for our state. The rut is starting down in Silver Creek, MS now. Heading up there tomorrow for the week.
Good Luck!
That's good advice and you guys are a great couple got to make it through some hard times to get to the good times and to appreciate the good times
Thanks so much
Man l, the more I follow you the more I like you. Thank you and Sandy for sharing your life with us. God bless y’all.
You are so welcome
Getting the new year started off with a bang, congrats Mrs. Sandy!!
Thanks!
Hands down my favorite channel. Thank you
Absolutely love how great you guys get along with all the hunting.
This one was easy.
Thanks for sharing!
Just love your channel Jeremy!! Y’all have some of the best hunting/life content!! Love to see a collab with you and the hunting public!!
Maybe one day.
Enjoy your kids . They grow up too fast.

I enjoy every moment.
I'm also very blessed to have a wife who put up with me!!! Great videos keep up the good content. And happy new year!!
Same to you!
Great message! Both videos. I am going on 16 years married and have been lucky, blessed, and fortunate enough to have a wife that allows me to live my passion of hunting. And yes brownie points! You can't ever have enough. Thank you
That's right!
God bless!
