First, I love the chemistry that Beth and Frank have. Second, BBQ Salt is something new that I learned. Third, Frank missed out by not adding "Frank's RedHot" sauce. Sure, it wasn't part of what was given, but oh the irony would have tasted great!

Alabama White Sauce is so great. I hadn't heard of it before I visited a friend in Alabama lol. Ever since then, I've had to explain to my west coast friends that it's not gravy. Also I'm a cheapo and just buy a bbq sauce and then add to it based on how I feel that day. Feel like it lasts longer and is more adjustable than making an entire pot. Beth is adorable how she explains her thought processes.
Is that Franks actual printing? It’s sooo neat. Also… I’m impressed she was able to buy all that name brand stuff for $17. I assume that’s the cost to buy those full ingredients and it’s not factoring in the amount actually used. 98 cents for French’s mustard?! My low-priced grocery store in Canada sells it for roughly $2 USD. Yeesh.
*Frank encounters a highly processed, strong, unchef-y, and specialized single purpose product like kraft bbq sauce that is more a condiment than an ingredient* "So I'm gonna de-atomize this bbq sauce into salt. Also, stick the dry pasta in the oven" *ten minutes later* Not everything has to be fancy.
They are so cute. They have been working together for years at this point. And I'm with Frank regarding the raw bell pepper. I won't avoid them if they are in a salad but I really prefer roasted. Glad to see a chef having the same opinion. I always think of chefs as liking everything.
What's not to love Beth and Frank both cooking and their interaction together just so wholesome I love those two! But Frank just NO to mayonnaise I can avoid it in most things but BBQ oh heck no!
