  • In this video, I show our home now "Cottage by the Seaside for $183.00 USD a month". Right outside we have some of the most amazing views of the sea and mountains. I also take you for a short ride along the seaside and show you a little bit of town, Prachuap Khiri Khan is about a 4 hour drive south of Bangkok. Just recently, I 've been asked where do we live now while we are building our new home so I decided to repost this video from my old Foreigner Joe Channel. This video was recorded in 2020. Thank you for watching. Please don't forget to subscribe and hit the bell to receive a notification for whenever we post new videos. Follow us on Instagram @snow.gift

Thank you Joe and Gift for an interesting but simple vlog of your cottage and a spin around your town . To me it just showed another side of you both, simple and humble people who appreciate what you have not what you could have. You are both a very special couple and I wish you both love, luck and happiness. L

When I was at Phuket at Patong Beach in early 90s it was very similar. I would prefer what you enjoy there to Pattaya or Phuket today more laid back and simple. I could live comfortably in your cottage with bed TV desk and kitchen and bathroom is all I need. Having nice neighbours and they throw in free dogs as pets too. Almost perfect.

    Joe,
I spent several days in Pratchuap KK about 10 years ago. Loved walking in the morning; the fishermen had their previous night’s catch all drying out on wooden racks,,, along the walkway along the water. I suspect they still do that. I could have been content a long time there in PKK,,, wish I was there now!

Some say it is expensive I don't agree I think the price is cheap for a beach property. Thank you for showing us the cottage. I will say don't go throwing money at the cottage as it is only temporary buy only things that you can take with you. The rental price is perfect. But are there any other costs like electricity, water, taxes, etc?

You mentioned you saw a lot of snakes in one of your videos. Do you see them near your cottage? Sounds kinda scary.

I don’t ever recall saying that there were a lot of snakes. I have seen two since being in Thailand. Thailand has under 10 deaths a year associated with snake bites. The people that pass usually try to treat the bite themselves without any medical attention. Stay safe!
