Nicest beach escape near Bangkok! Huai Yang Prachuap Khiri Khan

- Needing a 'breather' from daily living in Bangkok we drove a few hours South to beautiful Huai Yang area. The beach was incredible, the villa fantastic and the nearby National park too (even the somewhat mediocre Aquarium tour was fun;) In fact all along that stretch of coast from Prachuap Khiri Khan (PKK:) down to Bang Saphan and Chumpon are some of the nicest yet less visited beaches in all Thailand. Plus all round PKK area from Dolphin Bay to Ban Krut area is surrounded by gorgeous National Parks as well. This entire area easily tops my fav go-to 'escapes' (actually feel a touch guilty showing it off! ) Enjoy!

Huahin 2.5. - 3 hrs ex Bangkok…these resorts a further 1.5 hrs.Can’t be classified as close to Bangkok.🤔
Back in Canada we call a 4hr trip a jaunt ;) but fair enough. Still, have done PKK in a weekend many times, worth it imho but for sure better if having a week or so
@@SideTripLife There will always be whingers. Will complain about anything. Disagree (personally) at 4 hours but 2 hours could be a down the road jaunt. Loved the video and your other works especially the lack of click bait titles and ramblings which encouraged me to watch more.
