I am very concerned about the maintenance of these clean trains. I hope the government will put in place strict laws for those who will want to mess up the trains and police people trying to soil them.
Actually these are same trains used in China. Many of them served for decades but still looks very clean. It’s much easier to maintain than cars or buses. As long as there will be enough passengers and cargo, enough revenue, enough maintaining fund, it will not be an issue.
@@sigerian1085 You know that modern trains run on electricity only. Nigeria is not ready for that as at now. These trains are modern enough even when they are refurbished. In fact, I prefer these ones to some of the AmTrak trains I see online. I also prefer them to those used in Kenya and Ethiopia.
Not refurbished one, it’s from Tangshan Locomotive company, saw their engineer on the train. Amtrak is a joke, when I was in DC for 2 years heard three derail accidents near Maryland. @@LieutZhuNG do you have an idea when the ibadan to kano will commence?

They should build multi-story residential buildings near the station so huge numbers of people can commute from here to the city center.
The building should go vertical, give more land for road and other infrastructure.
