The most important video regarding radioDJ. Over the years I have watched all your brilliant content, I have been using radioDJ for about 3 years. Absolutely the best broadcasting software available. I started off using Sam broadcaster and had terrible experiences with it even though it's a paid for Premium software. I have never had an issue with radioDJ and it has never crashed, fingers crossed. Thank you very much for all your brilliant videos you are definitely the authority on radioDJ.
@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials Would you be willing to assist me? I have searched all over the forum and contact information for Radio DJ. Is TuneIn AIR/API compatible with Radio DJ? If so, where can I add the information TuneIn gave me? PartnerID: StationID: and Partner Key I'm using RadioDJ version v1.8.2.0
@@nicholasdrayton8876 I need to do a video on it but I know of one way and that's pushing the song change to a php file on your server. But it may be possible via the tunein api link, I would need to test it. But yes I can help you with that. To see my availability visit roderickcarter.com/support
Do you want to transfer a database to another PC? Is so, backup your current DB then copy it to a USB stick. Install and setup MariaDB onto the new PC, copy all the audio files and the RadioDJ installation folder to the new PC. Create a new DB then Restore your backup DB to the new MariaDB then use the Relocate files procedure to reconnect all the audio files.
After a task has been created and set, will that task continue even after a shutdown, and then a restart? Or does that process have to be redone each time the computer restarts?
@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials Perfect!! This is going to be so helpful!! Will something like this be possible, using the same steps... I download a song to my external hard drive, and I want for it to be imported into my DJ software (specifically), and then have it automatically be analyzed within the software.

Nicely done, indeed but why keeping the last 10 backups and not just the last one or two last ones?
Sometimes databases can become corrupt due to power surges or power outages. So having more than 1 assures you can get back up and running.
Thank you very much for the tutorial.
how can I install a radiodj database on another pc on a new one?

I have my backup to run every morning at 3 am....have had it set this way for years...but the folder is empty. Any idea why?
Not really. Could be a folder permission has changed with updates?

The task will be automated once it is setup

@@carlos_mann I think but would need more info such as download from where?
@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials
For example iTunes, Beatport, etc
I setup the task but the backup process won't run. I cannot run it manually, either. Why might this be happening?
Not sure, I would have to look at how you set it up.
