RadioDJ v2+ SayTime Plugin Install & Use

In this video we look at how to setup and use the SayTime Plugin for RadioDJ v2+
Due to the anitvirus block of RadioDJ dot ro, I did not show the downloading of the SayTime audio files but it's pretty simple to do if you have ever downloaded anything before.

Thanks alot rederick and i have benefited alot from your tutorials..i only have one challenge with my radio dj ..why do everytime i import directory and sync my folders i only get only songs That are alphabetically limited like it picks only songs that Starts from A To D and the other songs dont load ? Thanks alot

I been wanting this plugin but never could get it to work ....Now , Can you tell me if there is a get around when loading music into Radiodj , I may have a song by 2 different artist & Radiodj will only load one , Is there a way like in the older version that you can allow duplicate songs to load ?

One of the biggest problems with adding audio files to RadioDJ that many seem to not know about or understand is that, file names are considered by RadioDJ when adding them. I see way too many "01 Track 1.mp3" files representing different songs by different artist. Well, to RadioDJ, that's the same file name it already has in it's database, so it may not allow it to be added. Of course a work around is to rename the file name or make sure the file name is in a different folder on the hard drive.

You control when it plays but I would imagine that using the 3rd option along with any of the other options may cause them from time to time to run side by side with each other or back to back. Good observation. :)

Well, unfortunately it doesn't work on Win10 in the v2.0.0.6 version however it was updated and fixed in the Beta v2.0.3.7 version.
The web browser displays any website right inside of RadioDJ. This is awesome for chat rooms, social media and online information searches.

Would checking the "Smart Timing" box in the event creator accomplish the same thing? instead of creating and inserting a playlist?

Not really. The smart timing is in "beta" so it may not be as reliable but it's function is to make a decision as to what to do near the end of the hour if a song doesn't fit within the remaining time of that hour.

Make sure all of your Soundcard outputs in RadioDJ are all the same as the Main out. They should all be using the same soundcard except the Cue output.

I just tried the saytime and it is working great because of the video.
I made a playlist using one of the rotations I had that has sweeps station ids and music. I then shoved the manual event time event in different spots on the saved playlist it seems to work.
I had tried using the manual event in a rotation but it didn’t seem to cooperate.
I wished in the playlist when you added the event you could get it to replace and push down the song you picked instead it seems you have manually drag it from the bottom and place it that way. 😢 Radiodj is great for play music
