Interesting comments Chris. I wonder if the significance, to the viewer, will depend on that person’s primary learning mode. I’m very much a visual learner, so the words are secondary to me… although the shape, size and contrast of the words undeniably have a visual impact. The words do definitely trigger curiosity though, as the viewer can see that the short phrase starts to mean something, so you want to know the next ‘bit’. I like the ideas that you come up with for your videos… keep up the inspiring work, it’s much appreciated. Mick.

For some reason what you did reminded me of refrigerator poetry (but better because of the images) & it did take me on a little internal journey!

Thanks, Chris. Just discovered you today. This is a great piece with its palette, line work, and words. I use ‘found words’ in my art- both hidden and visible. Typically, fewer than five words, often just one - to minimize my influence on the viewer’s interpretation.
Always cutting out from magazines... for collage... each edition gives a color scheme that brings fresh updated content. Saving all the words that give new ideas and inspirational thoughts... all this introduces creative ideas. Ann, Florida fan

I didn’t expect to like this one…but I did. So my question is did you pencil mark your shapes for the words to fit it so well or you free handed them and they worked out perfectly?
