    Thanks for posting on YT again. I'm only 2hrs from K-State and my holistic vet sends titers there. My groomer asked if my ShiTzu had all vaccines, including influenza and bordetella, and I didn't lie, I told her, yes, she's had her vaccines. Meaning she had the only vaccines I and vet were willing to give her. They said they would call vet to confirm and never did and that's been four years ago. So I got lucky. Have never needed a sitter/boarder, but I make sure I have someone lined up who can pet sit in case of an emergency. And I've never licensed a dog. There are no dog police that go around checking and my pets are never in a situation where we would be found guilty of not having a license.

    I remember Dr. Jean Dodds stating the same. No matter what, I believe her. You basically are saying the same. You're a good doc to learn from.

    What about leptospirosis? There are no titers for that... How do I protect my dog against that? She needs to swim because of hip dysplasia and arthritis...

    Thank you for your Honesty, Integrity & Wisdom, Dr. Judy!!! I only WISH that I could find a vet like YOU here, in Naples, Florida!!! Im originally from NY/ NJ!!! I fight with vets constantly about vaccine boosters! Very hard because many require up to date shots to treat them. I have my ways of avoiding them! I have a mobile groomer, who does not require them & is educated enough to know what we know! Just a bit of advice for people whom, for whatever reason, must vaccinate & give boosters, there are homeopathic remedies which can help to offset the detrimental side effects & damage. Look into Thuja, Lyssin (for rabies vax), Sulpher, Nux Vomica, Merc Sol & some of the Sarcodes, as well...Lymph, Kidney & Liver. I am presently treating a dog that I adopted who was over-vaccinated, over-medicated & was given Simperica Trio monthly until I adopted her! Again, I can not express my gratitude enough for all that you do, Dr. Judy!!! Educating Pet parents, & your efforts to help our pets! You are truly a gem!!!

    Make sense. In total agreement. Love what you have to say. Is there any way to find out if there is a enlightened Vet in the greater Greenville, SC area? (someone who could be "recommended")

    Hello! First I vaccinate minimally, rabies only. Last year my dog received a three year rabies vaccine. A small, hard lump developed. The vaccine was administer quickly, jabbed, for whatever reason. I’ve found a new vet that is more opened minded to titer testing. What would your advise be to see if this lump is serious or not. I’d like to have a plan before visiting the new vet. Would you consider/suggest aspirating? If this is a vaccine sarcoma I don’t want to upset it. My boy is only 5 years old. Thank you for any advice you can provide.

    I'm new to my more holistic alternative approach to pet care. I have a English bulldog whom is on atenolol for his heart as he was diagnosed with heart issues as a puppy and has had a cardiac catheterization, balloon and stent in his pulmonic valve. He has been put on atenolol 25mg twice a day. What if any natural methods can I use? Please help. Much love from the UK ❤❤❤❤

    I don't want to vaccinate my puppy. After getting him from the breeder at only 2 months old with a list of vaccinations applied. I don't also need to get a rabies. Will my puppy be okay. I don't leave my dog anywhere do my own grooming and don't go to dog parks. But I do want to go on walks and have a normal life. What are the chances my puppy will be infected?

    Also may I ask why you recommend vaccinations if they are to be done, in the hind as opposed to neck?

    • @judymorgan4241
      @judymorgan4241 ปีที่แล้ว

      If they make a tumor secondary to a vaccine you can amputate the leg. If it's over the neck you cannot amputate or successfully remove the tumor.

    • @sassysandie2865
      @sassysandie2865 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In case they get a tumor. A leg can be amputated and cure the cancer if they get it at the injection site.

    • @debravictoria7452
      @debravictoria7452 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a non adjuvant rabies vaccine for cats. My current vet will not order it (even if I prepay for the whole order), because thay have partnered with another company. Too much thimerosal for small kitties. IMHO

    Hello my puppy is 10 weeks he was given the first round of shots as well as bordeteller and dewormer and flea and tick prevention at 8 weeks ... I got him three days ago and he has kennel cough now ..the breeder said this happens with the live vaccines and stress of a new home ...he is happy and playful and eating .. I really don't want him to be on an antibiotic right now ..what can i do ?? He has that hacking cough and slight runny nose .. 💔

    • @judymorgan4241
      @judymorgan4241 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Should not need antibiotics unless a thick yellow or green discharge starts or there is a high fever and loss of appetite.

      Dr. Judy is talking about titers. A titer is a laboratory test that measures the presence and amount of antibodies present in the blood. A titer may be used to prove immunity to disease. A blood sample is taken and tested. If the test is positive, the pet has immunity and may not need to be vaccinated. If the test is negative, the pet may need to be vaccinated. Check out the video Dr. Judy recorded last year on Titers Instead of Vaccines: th-cam.com/video/GPMqkH3XnGY/w-d-xo.html
