This piece I call: dreams where you half-know you’re dreaming but it feels so real and when you wake up you feel like you’re in an entirely different dimension than your own. Aka, ✨anxiety✨
I can't get this tune out of my head. It's absolutely brilliant. You know, usually when we listen to music, we listen passively. In other words, we’re just letting the music soak in slowly, the more often we hear it. We’re not listening for anything in particular, just enjoying it. That’s fine, but it won’t help you deconstruct the music. To do that, you need to listen actively. That means you need to know what you’re looking for before you begin listening. A good method is to pick one musical element (pitch for instance) and listen to the entire tune focusing on just that. Then listen again focusing on a different musical element. Make a list of everything you notice. And then you can begin to do construct the music and understand it with full appreciation of its essence.
@@kjl3080 I can't explain it, it's the weirdest glitch I've ever had. I composed the message on my phone's Android notepad program, because it's easier to edit there, and then just pasted it in. And for some reason, the formatting was all screwy. No matter what I did, I couldn't get rid of the screwy formatting. I tried cut and pasting between different applications, but I couldn't shake this screwy formatting. I could have re-written it natively from scratch, within the TH-cam comments interface, but by that stage, I just couldn't be bothered. I reckon that the idiosyncratic formatting and syntax of my comment, is now just as much a literary masterpiece, as the musical brilliance of this two note musical masterpiece. Just as an aside, do you want to know another musical piece with a theme that only has two notes? It's a classic. And this one, has an interval of only a half-step (semitone). It's the theme to Jaws. And I like how the tempo changes throughout the piece, and speeds up. The only other tune I can think of that has fewer notes, is it a theme to 60 Minutes. I can skat sing a jazz version of that.
