Just came back from a Ray Chen concert and the mad man actually debuted Rush E there as an encore 😂 it genuinely was amazing live. His playing is just world class and mind blowing!
I went to Ray's concert on Sunday and I have to say, it was one of the most wonderful and fun concert experiences ever! His Tchaik was just soooo playful and yet sweet, lots of push and pull, especially in the first and third movement and it was simply unbelievable to witness this live! Thank you so much, Ray for sharing this wonderful music! Absolutely adored your performance!!! And what made me cry was actually the encore, Waltzing Mathilda! Thank you so much for putting in fourty hours of practice every day!
Woohoo!! You took my challenge of Rush E! ❤️❤️❤️ I love this so much, and yes it is so catchy 😍 Thank you for being so in touch, & thank you for Tonic. It's lovely having a community of non perfect people working on goals together :)
I was in Munich and Ludwigsburg. Ray your Tchaikovsky is sensational. All feelings run through. I just can't get enough of your concerts and your emotional expression. Get addicted 🎻🔥❤️
BIG UPS TO YOU FOR THIS! Honestly, this is such a great interpretation and I adored watching your process as you engaged with the music. It was palpable how you enjoyed the process and watching your face light up with excitement as you NAILED IT was really such a joy. If you want something else to do, I would LOVE to see you coordinate with some other high quality musicians together to make a full rendition of this as a symphony piece. I personally think that the reason it's 'impossible' to play is because it takes so many hands on the piano (and it's electronically made), but having all of those hands available and playing would be PHENOMENAL to see and hear.
It sounds Russian because it was meant to sound Russian, that’s why it’s RUSH E. The rush originally started by someone asking smb if they can make the note B Russian
Amazing!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I have never heard a version of this song played by solo violin before! It is so hard to play the violin like the piano but it sounded really good!
Hi Ray... I'm a big fan! I watched your videos and Master Classes, and learned that you were a Suzuki kid before!!! I Just wish that you could visit us here in the the Philippines and share your passion for Music and inspire more Filipinos in classical music especially in the Suzuki Method!!! More Power and God Bless!!!
Not me clapping in front of my computer. FANTASTIC arragement and fantastically played! The harmonies were so well done even with the limited strings! And the vibes were immaculate!
can u pls put just the final part in a seperate vid in description, i love this vid, super entertaining, but it would be cool to have this on my yt playlist lol and probably others would too since this is such an amazing arr. & OMG the performance 😍
I have seen a lot of those other performances thx to the mighty YT-algorithm and always felt cheated by how they played it. Super easy and not very clean mostly, I always liked to think I can do it better myself. Well, sir, not anymore. That is some impressive violin transcription and playing. I got to say, I heard worse encores after concerts. I kind of want to see you go for it. Thank you for this impressive demonstration. Learning that in such a short time, shows your level. I think the interpretation I prefer most I head from you is the devils thrill sonata, but this one, although more like playing around, might make number two.
new to your channel, loving this so far. I especially love how you take us along for the trip getting there and not just dropping us off at the final piece. Take my like and sub sir, you've earned it.
It's been a while since I've last seen a video of your's, love how it got so funny to watch with the edits and the explanation of musical terms, makes music learning/practicing sound more fun to non players! Love your performances, this particular one reminds me so much of Paganini Caprices 🤔 Come to Brazil, pls 🫰
I think the colours mean hands like the composer played the song but with more than 2 hands, maybe his friends helped? Also you should play pignini the devil himself I think it was called . It’s considered the hardest pieces on violin EVER
What else should I learn and play? In the meantime, catch me practicing on Tonic: tonicmusic.app/join-in 🎉 See you in the studio!
Some more anime music, maybe video game music too
I’d really want to hear you play all of your Arcane soundtrack songs again or just parts of them like Fallout, The Concerto and more
Ray, why I don't get notification (from the app) about your last practice in tonic? 🥲
Irish music :)
Inuyasha Battle Theme... still ;)
Just came back from a Ray Chen concert and the mad man actually debuted Rush E there as an encore 😂 it genuinely was amazing live. His playing is just world class and mind blowing!
IS THERE A VIDEO? I WANNA SEE AND HEAR IT T_T
This is the comment I needed to read. It's the perfect end to this story
How did the audience react?
I mean it is Ray Chen tho

@@thawhid4711me as well! It was sooo good! Thanks to Ray and the marvelous orchestra.
You mean the encore wasn't Rush E? 😮
@@annatat2020 (sadly😜) not
Same me. I was on Saturday. It was incredible
I love how expressive his playing is and just how clean the sound is 🤩
WOW, he did the more difficult rendition of it and he nailed it! Well done, Ray!
Does that remind you of roman kim?
honestly this was the best violin arrangement I have seen of this piece
Obv this guy is a world class violinist
This is a rush E I have never heard of. This is the best rush E I’ve ever heard of. (And will be) ❤❤ Btw, Tonic is great!!!
To hear a very good piano version, I highly recommend WillsKeyBoardSink's performance. It's my personal favourite rendition of this piece ! 😊
Woohoo!! You took my challenge of Rush E! ❤️❤️❤️ I love this so much, and yes it is so catchy 😍 Thank you for being so in touch, & thank you for Tonic. It's lovely having a community of non perfect people working on goals together :)
I literally just watched Ray perform this live in as an encore to Korngold's violin concerto in Toronto! A fantastic performance! Well done, Ray!
I love the tiny outbursts of joy in the final performance. It made me smile so much.
I'm just starting playing the violin, and I have spent a total of 20 hours practicing on a weekend. Hoping someday I'll have your level!!
Duuuude, this rendition is insane! I’m happy to learn that you actually followed through and performed it as an encore 😂
1:49 and he actually watching fanchen's 😂
That was an epic boss villain story
and he admitted that it was good
Best villain arc ever.
@@hashdankhog8578
No, it was mediocre, no offence.
🤔🤔🤔
@@hashdankhog8578fanchen is mediocre amongst actual good pianists lol
Why do people say this song is soo difficult to play? I pressed play, and it worked just fine😏
🤣
Paganini would be proud! Finally, a piece of music that matches your intensity! 🔥❤⚡️🌟 I loved watching you learn and rock this!
I was in Munich and Ludwigsburg. Ray your Tchaikovsky is sensational. All feelings run through. I just can't get enough of your concerts and your emotional expression. Get addicted 🎻🔥❤️
This was beautiful. Makes me want to muster up even a quarter of that enthusiasm for literally anything in my life.
it would take me the amount of time Ray's been playing violin for me to learn the intro to Rush E on violin
He's AMAZING! So gifted (and those playing with him are no slouches either!) Excellent!❤
Love it how you took this challenge and took it to the next level.
World class violinist playing meme music. What a time to be alive.
The other versions I've seen of this song are much simpler than the one you brought, ray, impressive!
That is one /hell/ of a flex.
Respect.
The way you said I have been playing the violin for 30 years is crazy bro
Yeah
Wow Ray's arrangement of rush e is so intense🔥🔥🔥
It “has a Russian sound to it” is funny because that’s what the “rush” part means 🙂
Proof?

Also that’s the whole premise of all the “rush” songs of SMB

Dude, he just turned rush e in a difficult piece while the rest of internet just use it to show off or to mock it
Respect👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Ray, if you came to NZ, my family would ABSOLUTELY come see you.
this was so good i can't even begin to imagine how much practice this would have taken!! brilliant!
I actually get to hear Ray play this live tomorrow in T.O. after some Korngold!!! Perfect treat to end a rough week 🤗
Ray actually did play this as an encore in Toronto, Jan 26 - a world premiere!
This would be a GREAT encore piece. Hope to hear it live someday.
OMG, congrats. I left viola for science a few years ago (I suck at both) and your video and enthusiasm make me questioning that choice. Thanks!
I play voila😮
Bach's Chaconne, Paganini's Caprice No. 24, and your Rush E are a trinity of iconic solo violin pieces.
I used to think rush E was so unimpressive just from the way it was traditionally played on the violin - but! You my good sir had brought it to life!
I like how you're really into it while playing
The way that fiddle rings is just amazing.
thank you you now is possilble but i ave ben playing for 2 years
🙏🏻Ray sir I don't have any knowledge about violin but you make me listen about violin 🎼🎻
😂😂 i dont even have one...... But i like listening him 😂😅
Plenty of fun to be had there Ray. You turned it up to eleven. Most enjoyable and entertaining.
I wish someday we can hear this version on live concert. Actually every songs in this series..
0:30 It was composed by two Australian composers: Andrew Wrangell and Samuel Dickenson.
That is amazing! I would lose my mind, if I was at a concert and that was your encore! Bravo!
That...was....AMAZING!!!!!!! I like this version better than the common violin version of just the main voice lol but this is a new level of amazing 👏
HE DID IT HE ACTUALLY PLAYED IT AS AN ENCORE
Rush E = happiness for me
BROOOOO WHAAAA that was so epic :'> i'm speechless, you really took on the challenge😭✨
Are you human. Damn that was incredible!!!!
How can you dislike this? I don't see anyone else actually playing it.
oh. my. god. That was freaking amazing dude!
One of my favorite parts of his videos is seeing how he puts Tonic into it 😂 Keep it up!
So good! I hope I can hear you play it as an encore some day.
My favorite of @RayChenViolinist challenges so far. Also Go Tonic! It helps my kids focus while practicing!
Ray's hair during the performance was truly the most energetic
If you can rush it slowly, you can rush it quickly 😂😂
😊😂😂

8 минут перемотки стоили того, что бы услышать "Rush E" на скрипке в чистом виде, а не как разные вставки под пианино. Спасибо!

tough tough arrangement and you got it!!!!
