      Same here bro. Most of the toy guns i found in the toy store are unrealistic, small size and sci-fi looks gun. I wish there will be more realistic toy gun that looks like in this video (M1 Garand), or the others like MP5, FAL, M16, G3, etc. It's really hard to find a real looking toy guns now, Idk why? 🤔

    Brilliant! I had an M1 many years ago when they were legal here in Australia. I bought mine from a local gun shop and used it for hunting feral pigs, as It was a great rifle that had plenty of punch. I always seemed to get my thumb pinched when loading a clip until I learnt to load properly. This brought back many memories. Thanks for the upload

      Now it`s the best time, when good printers became affordable, yet they are still serviceable at home (You can buy all the parts and do all the work at home, you don`t need authorized service yet).

      Crankybag On real M1s, this isn’t an issue since there isn’t any give to the parts. On this, it seems there might be some misalignment or no contact with the bar on the side that locks the en bloc. When you want to unload the M1, you hold the bolt back and press that button on the side. That button is a bar that travels down to the pivoting lock that holds the oprod/charging handle back, allowing the clip to eject when the pivoting catch reaches the empty position.

      @@timesthree5757 Ehh, it’s tough. While this model has the same functionality as a real one, it would be much easier and safer to buy everything but the receiver. And then either CNC or forge a receiver yourself. All of the components except the receivers are reproduced/in great surplus.

VinDoy he uses publically availabe models, pretty sure all the models he has made are found online so, ive also tried exporting models from world of guns but they are very low poly and not good for 3d printing because they have alot of problems with mesh + it says in its disclaimer that you cant share the game files a few more legal stuff so theres that

      @Sgt. VinDoy also how do you think the people that made models for glock, ar15, the kar98 etc made them? Dont think you can freehand them so you are required to use blueprints to make each piece in a cad software like fusion360 and then ud export it in stl

      There is a workaround. You can just cycle the gun with the trigger, so when you pull the trigger, you pull the bolt back, ejects the round, and then a spring pushes the bolt forward again. But then you might end up with a heavy trigger pull.

      It's actually perfect for field stripping practice. Especially since you recreate historical firearms like the Garand.
      Imagine 3D printing a plastic copy of an old school weapon that is no longer produced, and is presented in a museum as a substitute for the real deal for those who are interested in the internal parts. That way the plastic copy is used and field stripped and the real one is preserved.

    can you list an exact type and number of each spring? i just bough the model and id love to know exactly which ones i need. Also, detailed instructions would be fantastic. Or at least put out the files for the spring making tools for the extra long springs

      So he dosent go to federal prison, this is already borderline illegal possession and creation of firearms. I mean it not, but you will have to do alot of explaining to do if caught, painting it to the real colors is guaranteed death or imprisonment (cause everybody knows it guilty before proven innocent 😔)
