They also have less impressive-sounding names. 4 goals is a haul. 5 is a glut. 6 is a double-hat trick. 7 is a double-haul (not sure why that one is 7, since you would think it would be 8). I played for a district team from the Adelaide Hills once. We got beaten 32-0. Twice. Same opponents. They won the league. I scored one of the 2 goals our team scored that season - from a penalty. So we only had one field goal scored the whole season. We were disastrously bad.
