the goal of the century still gives me goosebumps
Yes Geoff Hurst's third in 66 does it for me.
man . . . that Baggio miss in 94 hurt
I'm not even an Italy fan, but damn did he play his ass off that entire tournament.
Klose is an underrated legend ❤️
Oh piss off. Everyone's throwing around the word underrated. He's far from.
What do you mean underrated? Everyone knows he was a good player
@@reinier5387 no bro ..
How many people could u find who are fans of him...
He is not even known in many countries.
He is definitely underrated.
He didn't even receive a great farewell....agreed he recieved a standing ovation from the stadium...but still it was not that grand
@@TheSuperhoden He is very underrated. He's the top world cup scorer OF ALL TIME yet very few see him as an all time great. He's a prime example of underrated.
@@SPZ909 being the top scoorder makes him exactly that. Its a team effort too. Doesn't mean hes legendary.
The 2014 world cup is only 8 years old and it’s already one if not the most memorable one.
Certainly the best one this century.
@@roodborstkalf9664 2010, 2006 and 2002 were all really special too but I believe we can all agree that 2018 really sucked and 2022 will surely be the worst world cup of all time. In my opinion world cups should only take place in countries that actually embody football like Spain, Italy, Germany, France, England, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico or even South Africa who were simply very good hosts with great fans.
@@atomaticom1821 really ? I thought 2018 was a great world Cup in the entire group stage there was just a single 0-0 Draw I admit the Final was a bit dull due to the 4-2 Scoreline but the Semis were great
@@kurtpunchesthings2411 semis were great?? Really?? France parking the bus VS Belgium in the whole match after scoring a goal... such a boring match
@@atomaticom1821 I don’t think it should be held in the same countries all the time, but if FIFA wanted another Asian country to host it, other than the Japan/Korea edition, then I think there are better countries to pick from than Qatar. But hey, money talks.
that Maradona goal gives me goosebumps. love from Libya
Football turned into art thanks to Diego Maradona
Needs to be updated. The fricking whole final of 2022 should be there.
nah
That generation of Spain that won it in 2010... best of the best.
Yes the most boring side ever to grace the game. tic takky toe with vuvuzela soundtrack.
Lucky coz of Robben missing a goal

@@romeolajh1602let’s not forget that the referee forgave 2-3 red cards to the Dutch’s.
The karate one, Van Vommel for 1million faults and probably another player for accumulative faults (the orange team ended that match with 9 yellows)
wait for it
2014 worldcup was so damn good !
Nothing from 1982? Haven’t experienced it, but my dad says it is the best world cup he ever watched and his country didn’t even participated in it. So I started to watch some clips and documentaries of it and it looked absolutely fantastic to me, with lots of iconic moments.
@unavailable tribe Yes that was absolutely awesome. Also a legendary Brazilian team with Socrates Zico and Eder, who got beaten by the Italy with Paolo Rossi who scored a hattrick. What an unbelievable player that was
I remember it very well, i was 12,& this world cup sticks in my mind,I absolutely loved the Brazilian team, they were pure entertainment, was gutted when Rossi scored his hat trick against them.
Of course not, as always in these compilations Italy is completely missing out or only shown negative moments like that missed penalty by Baggio.
the fuck is rfa?
@@youmakeuhmesomoisty Republique Federal Allemagne (West Germany) or something like that.
Allemagne is Germany in french
Chadli's goal against Japan in 2018 is missing. What a game
Arguably, the most perfect counter attack. Quick, accurate, and a stoppage time winner.
A classy video with MODERN moments of the history of the world cup... With some of most easy videos to find from old times.
To this day, Germany’s demolition work on Brazil is my favourite moment ever.
it’s hard to watch
The Dutch are involved alot, for the good and bad. I am problably one of few, who thought the battle between Hol and Por was fantastic.
Holland is very prominent in WC history. They got to 3 finals (1974, 1978 and 2010) and a few semifinals (at least 1998 and 2014 that I know of). It's a shame they have yet to win the title.
@@miguelpinheiro6042 Yes, as a Dutchman born there, the World Cup competition always bring the lure of the big win and so far disappointment. In a few days I will again watch as mijn Nederlandse Elftal play to win the big win. HUP HUP HOLLAND! Sterkte jonges en door drukken!!
A obra prima que foi a cabeçada do Van Persie na copa do mundo, eu tive o privilégio de assistir ao vivo.
God how much I love this game.
Pape bouba Diop scored the Senegalese goal against France… I remember running 5 miles to celebrate that win and I was a small little gir, that joy is my favorite memory .. that was one of the best days of my life may his soul Rest In Peace ❤️
Germany’s deliberate hand ball to clear the ball off the line against the U.S. in 2002 didn’t make this list but it was just as egregious as the Hand of God goal or Frank Lampard’s ‘no goal’ against Germany in 2010. That would be been a PK for the U.S., and a red card for Germany.
The awesome and unexpected goal of Al Owairan for Saudi Arabia against Belgium in 1994 definitely should be on this list
True!
Nice video, all the highlights in good quality, thanks
Brings back so many memories!
Yea same I was 11 years old during the 2010 world Cup final I still say it was the greatest game of football I have ever watched a real tough battle Iker Casillas produced one of the greatest goalkeeper performances ever seen and I will never forget Inesta winning it for Spain right at the end
Very great video!!!!
Ah, the time when running before the striker and just lightly holding his shoulder would bag you a red card but a freaking intended karate kick right to the centre of chest while flying would be eligible to just a yellow one, JUSTICE HAS BEEN DONE!!!
Some that are missing:
-Lehmann saving penalties vs Argentina by using instructions that were written on a piece of paper that he was hiding in his sock.
-Hakan Sukur scoring the fastest goal ever in a World cup vs Korea
-Andres Escobar scoring an own goal that eventually lead to his death
-Zidane's panenka in a World cup final vs Italy
-Maradona scoring and then running towards a camera while on cocaine
-Croatia winning 3rd place in their first ever World cup apperance in 1998
-El-Hadary becoming the oldes goalkeeper to save a penalty at the World cup
While on cocaine 😂😂
People like to hate on Suarez for that and i get it, but he simply did what he had to do for his team to win. Even if it meant sacrificing himself for uruguay to move on...
You say that, but if every player acted like he did where would that leave the game of football. Not one player should act how Suarez acts.
At first i tought you were talking about the chiellini bite i was like wtf s this guy talking about
there is nothing wrong with the handball...people hate suarez because of the biting :D not the handball that was a disgrace
It’s unsportsmanlike to play like that you dummy. Imagine if every player “sacrificed” himself like that. Football as a sport would be ruined.
A player that saves his team by getting a red card for stopping an attacker as the last man is ok but a handball on the line to save his team is wrong. I see now, so you make it an argument of convenience. Of course, that’s how people argue their points nowadays
Uruguay's victory over Brazil in Maracaná (1950) is for sure the most iconic moment in football history.
Except it happened 239 years ago and no one who saw that happen is alive anymore.

Feel like Pavard’s goal for France in 2018 had to be in here. Cleanest strike of a football I think you could ever see
Not only because it was one of the most beautiful of all time, but also because it leveled the score and utterly changed the dynamic of the game. France never looked back after that.
Pavard's wonderful volley and Di Maria's screamer from miles out in the same match. That was a wild match.
To me the most incredible of all moments in the video is that De Jong's challenge on Xabi Alonso was only a yellow?!!! 😂
The Football is most beutiful SPORT in all Universe and all Multiuniverses!!!!!!
Greetings from Mexihco-Tenochtitlan!!!!!
Tenochtitlan cayó el 13 de agosto de 1521, tiene 500 años que no existe, y el 95% de su población murió de viruela. ¿De que estas hablando fanatiquillo? Very excited for the memorable moments we'll experience in Qatar
Do you mean all the slaves that died building it?
Yeah just like modern day pyramids with the blood and sweat from slaves

2022 Emi's save in the final at 121th minute
I know, but this video was made before the 2022 World Cup
Still, how did he save that?
Germany’s 2014 World Cup run was simply sensational. They beat Portugal 4-0 and they won Brazil 7-1. Have you ever seen a team do that
Grosso goal vs Germany 2006 and then del pieros with Italian commentary are absolutely iconic and should be here. One of the best games of football I've seen
Iker Casillas' foot save will always be my favorite memory.
The best memories i had watching world cups. Zidane's headbut ofcourse, the embarrassing match between brazil and germany.
agreed
Brazil 1 - 7 Germany is easily the best score in a national game I've seen because the Brazilians were barely scraping by against lesser teams but the Brazilians were so full of confidence and arrogance. Then they get smashed like this, honestly it was poetic. Bayern Munchen smashing Barcelona 8-2 was my favorite score in a club fixture game ever. Literally everyone knew Bayern would win comfortably but never score 8 goals, and it could have been more. Barcelona were lucky it was only 1 game that year and not 2 legged otherwise we could have seen a historic aggregate score in the Champions League.

Nigel de Jong vs Xabi Alonso 2010

Suarez handball: INFAMOUS😡
Maradona: Hand of god 🤑
2014 was the first World Cup I closely followed and the fact it had so many iconic moments is special to me
Brazil crying was probably the best highlight of this video lol
always fun to see the legendary kick of Nigel de Jong, while never seeing the underrated head kick against Dutch player Demy de Zeeuw, which basically ended his career.
You included them all. Very well done.

I remember watching NL against Spain and that was the longest match in my life😅
How can u not put beckenbauer winning the world cup both as a manager and as player on here. One of the best football players in history
Indeed and the same goes for Deschamps.
The battle for Nuremberg hahahaha im dead, still gets me pumped seeing NL vs Portugal.
That 2002 Brazil team was absolutely legendary. Best team Ive personally witnessed played. 2010 Spain was great too.
Diego Forlan’s free kick screamer after everyone was complaining that the 2010 ball was bad to shoot with is one I’ll never forget

Dennis Bergkamp, was an Amazing Player..🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The best part about De Jong’s kick at 4:06 was that after it happened, he still had the “what did I do?” Look 🤣🤷🏽♂️
Also the fact that after planting the entire base of his foot on another player's chest he didn't get a red card. Unbelievable, I mean if that is not a red card, what is?
@@rubydtl8449 yes true, but it didn't change the outcome.
