Usually these futsal size games take much less time than that because they typically have more goals. Proportionally 45 minutes is like an actual game going on for 200 minutes.

To be fair, both teams had some retired players and some active players. The difference is, Wrexham players are virtually unknown in men's football, while the US women are / were the very best in women's football. It's just a fun game but you can see the massive difference here, Lee Trundle is 46 years old and looking like prime Ronaldo here, and he never played at the highest level in his career.
The fact that the men had to hold back on physical contact and shooting power the whole time to ensure to not break the women's bones was not even mentioned.

It's no doubt they were indeed holding back. Football/ soccer remains a dangerous physical contact sport. People seem to forgot the injuries they suffer on the pitch are sometimes fatal and can take months to recover.
To be honest it was not even about the physical difference. Even some men teams have differences in terms of height (for example lot of Asian team players are shorter). Here it was just pure skill and tactics. The women's team positioning was just awful, especially around the goal. This is to be expected as less women play the game, so the pool for talent and competition that makes everyone go higher is just not there.
12 goals in 41 minutes, could have been 25 if it hadn’t been for the keeper. Oh and these are retired 4th division men. Please, anyone seriously thinking women’s football is on the same level as men’s, that they should get the same money - just stop. To pay the same money as the men’s teams would have to massively subsidise them as the revenue for the women’s game is a tiny fraction of the men’s. And guess what - like any business making loses, you would cut the streams/products losing you money, rather than continue to pump millions into it. Expect women’s clubs to start being wound up in the next 5-10 years or so. FIFA estimate than only 7% of women’s clubs make profit. Then when it happens, you’ll see the usual firebrand feminists saying it’s because of sexism etc - rather than admit the truth that the game is not a PAYING crowd drawer. They expect women’s clubs to just ‘run’ like charities.

This is due to the biological advantages men have so I think it's important to look at men's sports and women's sports through different lenses. In reality the difference is much greater. These were top level women versus lower level retired men taking it easy for 45 mins on a small pitch. The reality would be pro men versus the same team for a full match on a full pitch. It would be 30 to 50 nil.
This reminds me of my junior A hockey team. We used to play exhibition games against the Canadian women’s team. They can skate but we would be up 5-0, 7-0, and our coaches would tell us to reel it in. These ladies won olympic gold.
I regularly play amateur football (soccer) with active members of our female national team. While they are good, most men of our group are far superior and some have never played a day in a real club (we are pretty good for a full amateur team though)

Actually the 12 goals was a limit they set before the match. As soon as they hit 12 goals, the match finished. Iirc the match was around 10-15 mins. Allot of the games during this "festival" thing had similar rules, just as to not waste anyone's time.

This is due to the biological advantages men have so I think it's important to look at men's sports and women's sports through different lenses. Skillwise men are always going to be better athletes than women, I believe that was the main point of this video. Serena Williams said herself that men's tennis and women's tennis are pretty much two different sports. For context these are former male pro’s and Wrexham is not an elite team, they are in the third division of English football. None of these guys were superstars during their careers and they won without even breaking a sweat.
For context , most of the current pros are in their 20's, although non league teams. The women are college girls or retired women. I love context.

Here in Germany, something very similar happened to the women's world champions of 2003 in the same year. They played a 3x15 minute game against the C youth team from Stuttgart. The women's national team lost by something like 0:9, I can't remember exactly how much. What I do know, however, is that the result was very fortunate for the women, because the boys hit the crossbar and post a few times. They were all boys between 14 and 16, the youngest was almost 14, but at the time of the game he was still 13(!).

100%. But I don't think the issue of equal pay should have anything to do with the fact that the average male footballer is so much better than the average footballer. We all know male footballers earn silly amounts of money, and while the figures involved are ludicrous, it's simple supply and demand, and it makes complete logical sense: Football is the world's biggest sport, clubs earn billions in revenue through advertising, sponsorships, attendances, shirt sales, prize money, and whatever else. Of course they're going to spend top dollar for the best players to try and get to the top.
The absurd thing about the demand for equal pay isn't even about the gulf in ability between the sexes. While it may be true that no women would play top flight football if the sport became unisex, the fact remains that men and women don't face each other in competitive football. So considering women's teams don't measure themselves against male opponents in competition, it makes no sense for them to measure themselves against the men in terms of pay. It's simple business and basic math; if the women's game becomes as popular as the men's, then they will organically earn as much as them. This whole thing about demanding equal pay just because they think they deserve it is completely bonkers.
