STAIN COLOR: We use the same stain combination for the entire house as we LOVE
how it looks. We did two coats of the Weathered Oak as we need some gray and just
one coat of the Early American.
If you pin this, you won't need to answer the same question over and over again.

Very nice, except I don't like all the mini clips hiding the finished product. Its hard to see what it looks like when you have little video blocks covering it up.

This looks so nice! I’m going to try and do this in our kitchen to cover up the popcorn ceiling. Can I ask what size pine boards you used?

You need to sand it first
Those were likely 6” boards. You would need to use battons if going over popcorn ceiling.
Looks real nice but should have done the beam with 45 degree cut. You wouldn't see any line on the beam
We thought of that and since this was a laundry, didn't think the extra work was needed. Good thinking!

Did you leave gap spaces for expansion?
We did not. There was plenty room already.
Size of boards?
We used 6-inch boards.
How would one hang by themselves if you don’t have someone to hold the other end?
You really would need another person to help hold the other end.
What is the saw?
Are the planks a certain type? They almost look tongue and groove
Yes! And it doesn't really matter what you use. In another room, we even just just board and kept them really close together and you can't even tell they aren't the expensie boards.

Menards, HomeDepot and Lowe's all carry the wood. :)
What color stain did you use?
