$80!? You’re brilliant. Thank you SO MUCH. I think I can handle this without my husband’s help and I won’t have to listen to his complaints about the cost!
After watching the video advert i was still skeptical. But when i finally downloaded the plans th-cam.com/users/postUgkxZF0EMnrujZvqHhGkxiz559uIABJWR9TG i was very impressed. The whole plan was just as you said in the video. Thank you very much. I now have a large and valuable collection for my woodworks. This is great!
@@shacharcohen8664 there’s a great one called armstrong but the right now they dont have a lot of their stuff in stock. Their price is also affordable, I believe somewhere 3-4dollars per sq ft.
Yep, I just bought my own ELECTRIC brad nailer up to 1-1/4" nails since I didn't want to deal with my husband's compressor, LOL. Yep, worked perfect on my stairwell wainscoat project and peel & stick wood ceiling tile project.
I enjoy your down to earth approach to projects. When I build its not always the "expert way" but in the end it looks just as good and its less expensive. Great job inspiring others to do the same.
I just finished a project using the same materials. We cut 1/2" plywood at 8" so we could get 6 equal boards, which were 7 1/4" inch when you figure the saw blade width. Then we ran it horizontally halfway up the wall as Wainscott. We used two nickels for our spacers turned out really nice.
You might not always do things "correctly" but you are out there doing them, and that's far more important. Your porch looks better which was the object of the exercise. I like your enthusiasm and your creativity. Your husband is a very lucky man!
Definitely a great value when you consider the cost of celing material which can run in to the thousands very quickly. Kicking ideas around for my basement rec room.
Yes, impressive! Thanks so much I'm exploring ideas to cover a one Popcorn ceiling in an enclosed patio. Love it, I believe I will begin in the center and work my way out in each side to hopefully have each end match if there is a little bit off like your experience. Gratefully 🙏
Might steal this idea for my back porch, gotta patch up an old, dried ceiling and it's just bland white paint and drywall - this would look awesome with our lattice and we could paint to match. Thanks for idea fuel!
Looks fantastic affordable, beautiful color and easy to do. I'm remodeling our ceiling also. You have giving me a great idea. "YOU GO GIRL"! Keep up the good work.
I haven’t been subscribed to your videos for long, but I’m making my way through them and getting tons of ideas! 💡 Not to mention that watching you inspires me to get out there and do it, since you are usually banging projects out by yourself on the regular! This video saw me grabbing a tape and running out to the porch to find out that is indeed 8’ across, so now I have no excuse. Keep it up, and I’ll keep my eyes and attention glued to the screen.
I just love your personality and the way you take on these projects and stuff and just so relaxed about it. Myself I'm driving myself crazy with all the TH-cams on how to do this how to do that and I'm never had to do any of this but it is rewarding once you do figure something out all by yourself and with the right video. You're my number two on how to and I'm just recently just started watching your videos. Will you know seejanedrill has got to be number one LOL she's pretty awesome
Putting how informative and entertaining your videos are aside for a second, if you put out something like a DIY calendar or other kinds of merch it's going to sell like crazy.
Just came onto your channel ,, My,,my , you are a busy woman... fun to watch ( while there is something yet to do).. Just goes to show " where there's a will ,,,, there's a way " .. and it's your way !! Finish projects are pretty much ,do as you want, but when you get into structural issues ,, get a qualified source of information so you won't run into code violations or safety issues... ....Guess I will view a few more videos to see the creativity you put into all of your projects ,, always impressed on the interest of young women today that take a hands - on approach to getting projects done... .....til a latter time... ..... Thanks , You gave me some idea and I think you said there were holes in your ceiling. I loved the look of it before you covered it! Anyway,,, overwhelmed and looking for ideas -- appreciate you folks
AWESOME job! I liked this so much I wanted my husband to do this to our Florida room, however it was too expensive however doing it this way even if I spend $100. it's cheaper and looks like I can do it! Thank you for the inspiration!!
I’m so impressed with your skills! I’ve been begging my hubby to do this in our Lake House but he won’t. After watching your video I now know I can do it myself! My husband has so many tools because he does construction for a living. Just an idea for future videos, but perhaps you could share your expertise on how to use skill saws, nail guns, compressor, etc. for us ladies. I’m subscribing to your channel. Thank you so much!! 💕🦋🌸
When I was doing the front porch on my house I didn’t necessarily worry about square but the number of deck planks it took to cover the entire porch. I had to get the spacing right because I didn’t want a strip of wood at the end not the same width. Love the video lol good work!
Instagram models should learn from you, beautiful with no makeup. and your projects are very good and your delivery is outstanding. if you don't do this for a living (the YT thing) you should.
Wow nicely done! We are undertaking a similar project on our vaulted living room ceiling. We're using tongue and grove cedar planks that are 3.5" wide. I hope our project comes out as nice as yours!
Parabéns pelo excelente trabalho. Inclusive, por mostrar que não precisa ser especialista para realizar coisas tão úteis e funcionais. ( Congratulations on the excellent work. Also, for showing that you don't have to be an expert to accomplish such useful and functional things.)
I think I’ll use that ideal for my living/Dinning room ceiling Caruso it’s popcorn to the max and the popcorn has started falling off its awful , embarrassing, really, and a really nice trim board, what you think??
Very impressive. Such a delight to watch. I need to decide on what kind of ceiling to put into my tiny cottage. I need some type of ceiling to cover the OBS. The walls will be off white so not sure what color to do the ceiling. Very nice!

What kind of plywood ,or where exactly one can find it?

Gotta love it when a woman gets a brad nailer and a compressor for Christmas.

I wanted to do this but the other videos I saw from others were so intimidating, yours are simple and I LOVE YOUR ATTENTION To DETAIL.

As a 28 year wood flooring installer.. GREAT JOB!!

I love this. Planning to do this technique to cover our popcorns we have throughout most of our house.
Might steal this idea for my back porch, gotta patch up an old, dried ceiling and it's just bland white paint and drywall - this would look awesome with our lattice and we could paint to match. Thanks for idea fuel!
So awesome! Loved the warmth it gave and the price and sweat equity was very reasonable!

Yes it does..I was looking towards an rv ceiling for outside..came across yours it helped..thank-you specifically the cut 😉..with the board 😉
Looks amazing, would have liked if you took a video of the complete end result 😀 but again awesome upgrade 👏
Thank you. I am going to share your video with my wife.
This just what I was looking for. Im going to try it in the house. Thanks
What a lift..looks awesome 👌 👏 👍
Great problem solving skills. I like the color contrast between the white paint and natural wood color

@@WelcometotheWoodsBlog Still comtemplating so many layers of paint to remove & and I think they replaced some pieces already 😒😂 decisions, decisions.
Whoa model ladies doing construction
Great idea, I plan on installing this on my ceiling in my basement office. Also live in southern Minnesota.
Great job! You inspire me. I am going to do my ceiling too!
Excellent video
Ive been concerned about the weight of a wood plank ceiling but this looks super light. Maybe this is something I can actually achieve now.
Wow nicely done! We are undertaking a similar project on our vaulted living room ceiling. We're using tongue and grove cedar planks that are 3.5" wide. I hope our project comes out as nice as yours!
How did your project come out ? Really thinking about doing this inside my house
Awesome! I would just add glue to the planks to really secure it to the ceiling cos’ in season temp changes nails could get lose
Fantastic Look! Great Idea! Cheers from Wisconsin!
Cheers to the luckiest man on earth 🍻
This is an awesome idea.

Awesome! Moreso rolling the ceiling without an extension pole. I would have stopped and gone to the store. Supergirl.
Or just kidnap the broom handle as should have same threads.
Very impressive. Such a delight to watch. I need to decide on what kind of ceiling to put into my tiny cottage. I need some type of ceiling to cover the OBS. The walls will be off white so not sure what color to do the ceiling. Very nice!

Gave me ideas for a small bathroom.
Looks great.
Nice to see a fellow Minnesotan on TH-cam . Can you see the white from your quarter spacing ?
HEY MINNESOTA, I PRAY YOU ARE SAFE OUT THERE - am going to try using plywood for my ceiling and floors too, thnx tons - south africa
Thank you Linda! For floors, you'll need to use a very thick plywood or it won't be strong enough. Perhaps 3/4"?
Great job 👏
Nice work there...really looks good.
Thank you!
Wow this is a great ideas thank you
Awesome, I want to follow this on my living room ceiling, thank you for sharing 💕
