As a photographer in my spare free time, I must say that the camera array on this phone is really really good, way above S24 or other phones maybe more expensive. Keep up the good work! Cheers!

@@_Funonwheels Photography wise 100% the Xiaomi will do a much better job with true to life experience. That is based on using the s24 Ultra and not the regular s24, but I doubt they would switch up the whole thing. And thank you :)

Most flagship phones can do good stills and videos. The differentiator for me is can the camera also capture pictures of moving subjects(e.g. kids) mostly blurry free.
I use Xiaomi 14 Pro and I do mobile photography, so open the camera, touch the sign on the top tab, pull down and activate motion tracking focus, the results are seriously successful.😊

You have to travel, that is such a big part of photography for me, exploring and capturing moments you don't exspect! Locations you discover, angles and more! If I shoot my own city the whole time it feels like a repeat, so doing this is the joy! And nice!!! Getting that 14 Ultra! I am getting it hopefully soon, but unsure if I will finish it before that date? I am planning a cinematic video intro, currently working on drawing it all out for that next level experience ^^ And I think if you order before hand you can still return it? Though I doubt that you will ^^ Xiaomi has impressed me a lot with their photography!

I love to travel, especially in Europe, I've been to the Nederland's, Belgium, France, Austria, Switzerland and Germany and I've taken some great photos with the different phones I've had. But never with a Xiaomi device, this will be my first one 😀 I'm going back to Germany this year and I'm hoping to take some great photos with it 👍 Currently I have the Oppo Find X5 Pro which still takes some great pictures.

@@ThroughJermainesLensYes I'm going to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria and I'm hoping to take a trip up Zugspitze, at 2962 meters it's Germany's highest mountain and it should give me some fantastic photo opportunities 🤞 I'm also hoping to go to Lake Eibsee in Grainau, close to where I'm staying which is supposed to be quite beautiful and I'm also planning to visit various local towns and villages and I'm going for 11 days, so I should have plenty of time to capture some great pictures with the Xiaomi 14 ultra 😀 I think I might take my Oppo Find X5 Pro with me as well and compare the photos from both devices 👍
Great video as always! Ultra wide isn't usually a priority on most phones unfortunately and this one looks pretty good I'd rather have a telephoto over an ultrwide tho And maybe that thumbnail needed a pic for the phone to pop more 😅
yeah I thumbnail is hard hahahahaha And yeah true, I focus least on that, but in some cases the ultra wide does have a nice space! Like in that train station ^^
I'm debating if I should trade my S24 Ultra for the Xiaomi 14 which right now comes bundled with a free Xiaomi Pad 6. My preferred zoom range is 2.8x - 3.5x and Samsung's 3x camera is pretty disappointing. I'd give up the 5x lens, some software features, but I feel like I'd enjoy taking pictures with the Xiaomi phone more. I also really like the Leica image processing 🤔

not a photographer but really happy with my purchase. i use the 3.2 zoom lens to shoot maco shots outdoors and the background naturally blurs and it gives the pictures this really "pro" feeling vibe. i get tons of compliments on my social media and i don't even know what the heck i am doing. quite shocking, my last phone only had budget to midrange camera quality and was several years old, so i was shocked how good the pictures are.

That is never an easy one, several things, 14 is better in shutterspeed, and has more character and is more natural, the xiaomi had better ranges from ultra wide to periscope, as well as higher video recording, and of course the rear display. As well as a different style that can be liked better then what you get on the 14
Im between the Xiaomi 14 or the iPhone 15 Pro, both seem to have great cameras but I’m afraid Xiaomi will downfall in social media posts like Instagram which is my main usage

Great video with superb photos 👍I have the feeling that both Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra beats Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in photography, maybe even OnePlus 12 which I bought on launch day here in 🇫🇮 EU. OnePlus 12 can take some amazing photos but not in all conditions. Is Xiaomi/Leica in your opinion better than the OnePlus/Hasselblad collaboration?

Oh man I wish I could help you but I haven't used the 14T pro, so I find it really hard to directly say which you should get. I would say if you use the ultrawide a lot on paper that is better then the 14T pro

De telefoon is echter veel te groot voor me. Ik zit te kijken naar de Xiaomi 14 en vindt het wel een aardig toestel, alleen maak ik me zorgen om de camera prestatie tegenover de S23 Ultra. Nu weet ik dat je laatst best kritisch was over de S24 Ultra, maar hoe zou je de S23 Ultra vergelijken met de Xiaomi 14?

Ik ben het type wat de camera app opent, een foto schiet en eigenlijk dan meteen het beste resultaat hoopt te krijgen door 2 a 3 foto's te nemen. Zoomen doe ik redelijk veel maar 5x is echt het maximale. Ik heb in het verleden een Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro gehad, die in het water is gevallen. Ik was heel tevreden over de camera, echter was video een nachtmerrie. De Samsung doet tot nu toe alles perfect, heb altijd goede foto's kunnen schieten en heeft me tot nu toe niet in de steek gelaten. Ik moest in het begin wel een beetje spelen met het contrast, maar dat zit nu weer goed.

Het resultaat valt altijd tegen vergeleken met de primaire lens. Het contrast van de kleuren is vaak minder en de foto heeft te veel noise. Dat is tenminste wat ik ervaar.

Jermaine, I am not able to replicate the photos on my xiaomi 14 on stock camera. It's blowing out everything and I have to reduce exposure and increase texture.

Great work as always Jermaine… kudos! Would you recommend a switch from the xiaomi 13 pro to the xiaomi 14? Since the 14 pro and ultra aren’t launching in my country… and I really like the smaller form footprint and the flat display… but at the same time I don’t want the camera experience to be lacking or a downgrade by any means since I do love the one inch sensor on the 13 pro… what do you suggest?
I would stick with the 13 Pro realistically if you already have it:) but if you do like that smaller form factor, then yes this would be a good upgrade for you, and it still has great sensors:)
Wonderful Photos Indeed. I am very willing to get it but it holds its price here in the UK At Launch it was £900 and now is £800/850 which is an amount I am not very willing to spend. The 13T on the other hand is just £350 at the moment so wanted to ask how do the two Devices compare in the Camera Department?
SO honestly the 14 will do better in segments like zoom, macro and ultra wide performance, but is it worth double the amount? I don't think so.... and I honestly would be looking at the Xiaomi 13 Pro, that one will do better for you at possibly a lower price then the 14. And I prefer the 13 pro over the 14. did a comparison between those 2.
It's nice to hear something about Xiaomi's phone from a photographer's perspective. Very nice video. Is the regular Xiaomi 14 worth buying if I own a 13T Pro and cannot afford the 14 Ultra? Or should I consider another option?
Xiaomi 14 at 650€ vs 14 Ultra at 1200€ (with photography kit). Is the 14 Ultra worth that double price? I mainly care about camera and especially the 3.2x
Honestly I think when it comes to the 3.2x zoom, right now, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is the best, it doesn't oversharpen, and I feel like it is a bit nicer in it. And is it worth twice the price, simply put if you mostly care about that... no... unless you of course want the photography kit!
im not sure if i should get the next gen xiaomi or samsung software and design just make me want to get samsung but xiaomi’s camera just keeps pulling me

Hi :) I adjusted in in lightroom on my PC :) And presets are a hard thing because it isn't a 1 fits all ^^
Any issues with foggy lenses? A lot of reviewers in Barcelona had it.

That is never an easy one, several things, 14 is better in shutterspeed, and has more character and is more natural, the xiaomi had better ranges from ultra wide to periscope, as well as higher video recording, and of course the rear display. As well as a different style that can be liked better then what you get on the 14

Im between the Xiaomi 14 or the iPhone 15 Pro, both seem to have great cameras but I’m afraid Xiaomi will downfall in social media posts like Instagram which is my main usage

Yes, can't repair it. Inside buildings it was ok, but outside always fogg. Sometimes less, sometimes more... It is a shame, because phone is good.
Great video with superb photos 👍I have the feeling that both Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra beats Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in photography, maybe even OnePlus 12 which I bought on launch day here in 🇫🇮 EU. OnePlus 12 can take some amazing photos but not in all conditions. Is Xiaomi/Leica in your opinion better than the OnePlus/Hasselblad collaboration?

Oh man I wish I could help you but I haven't used the 14T pro, so I find it really hard to directly say which you should get. I would say if you use the ultrawide a lot on paper that is better then the 14T pro

De telefoon is echter veel te groot voor me. Ik zit te kijken naar de Xiaomi 14 en vindt het wel een aardig toestel, alleen maak ik me zorgen om de camera prestatie tegenover de S23 Ultra. Nu weet ik dat je laatst best kritisch was over de S24 Ultra, maar hoe zou je de S23 Ultra vergelijken met de Xiaomi 14?
leuk om een nederlander te zien of course! en dankje! voor je teleofon, vind je het resultaat op je Samsung mooi? als ik meer vel qua kleuren enz? Want Xiaomi heeft in basis wel een andere aanpak, echt meer de fotografie approach.

@@ThroughJermainesLensIk moet zeggen dat ik qua camera niet een geavanceerd gebruiker ben. Ik ben het type wat de camera app opent, een foto schiet en eigenlijk dan meteen het beste resultaat hoopt te krijgen door 2 a 3 foto's te nemen. Zoomen doe ik redelijk veel maar 5x is echt het maximale. Ik heb in het verleden een Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro gehad, die in het water is gevallen. Ik was heel tevreden over de camera, echter was video een nachtmerrie. De Samsung doet tot nu toe alles perfect, heb altijd goede foto's kunnen schieten en heeft me tot nu toe niet in de steek gelaten. Ik moest in het begin wel een beetje spelen met het contrast, maar dat zit nu weer goed.

@@ThroughJermainesLens Hahahaha ja dat wel. Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik sinds het begin van de introductie van Ultra wide op een smartphone er nooit fan van ben geweest. Het resultaat valt altijd tegen vergeleken met de primaire lens. Het contrast van de kleuren is vaak minder en de foto heeft te veel noise. Dat is tenminste wat ik ervaar.

Yes, but it is done via that zoom wheel, there is a bit of an example of me switching in this video:) zoom unsure though, doesn't look like it, but ultra wide for sure

Jermaine, I am not able to replicate the photos on my xiaomi 14 on stock camera. It's blowing out everything and I have to reduce exposure and increase texture.

Great work as always Jermaine… kudos! Would you recommend a switch from the xiaomi 13 pro to the xiaomi 14? Since the 14 pro and ultra aren’t launching in my country… and I really like the smaller form footprint and the flat display… but at the same time I don’t want the camera experience to be lacking or a downgrade by any means since I do love the one inch sensor on the 13 pro… what do you suggest?
I would stick with the 13 Pro realistically if you already have it:) but if you do like that smaller form factor, then yes this would be a good upgrade for you, and it still has great sensors:)

SO honestly the 14 will do better in segments like zoom, macro and ultra wide performance, but is it worth double the amount? I don't think so.... and I honestly would be looking at the Xiaomi 13 Pro, that one will do better for you at possibly a lower price then the 14. And I prefer the 13 pro over the 14. did a comparison between those 2.

I just got the xiaomi 14 and it was a bit foggy, i ran AnTuTu stress test for an hour with sim slot open and the issue is gone now

Honestly I think when it comes to the 3.2x zoom, right now, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is the best, it doesn't oversharpen, and I feel like it is a bit nicer in it.

Main camera get foggy after 40 seconds of recording. Its a big issue and no solution so far
I haven't had this, but I have heard about it, and it is a problem.
There is a solution to fix it, you just have to google it
