I've had my pair for over a year and really like them. They do need quite some time to break in but when they do... Oh boy. The sound does become a lot more coherent and the mids start to come through although I would agree that they remain slightly recessed. But it's that gorgeous open high end that continues to attract me, particularly on acoustic material.
I ended up with the speakers for over 2 months and complete agree with you! I worked for many several high end speaker manufactures in the past and it’s quite normal to have slightly and purposely recessed mids. You are spot on with the highs especially in this price! Glad you are enjoying your speakers.
Thank you for your kind words! Depending on your turntable a price point, however, to get started take a look at Cambridge(duo/solo) For so many years I have tried numerous ones at the price and always find it be excellent value. Even the older 540 or 640p on the used market are still good.
I just wanted to let you guys know I got my Bro 3s yesterday. Let me just say it turns out that’s it’s not hype at all, these speakers are an absolute pleasure to listen to! Wow, the tone and clarity of them is amazing. To me they are extremely balanced and the best way I can describe is they are lean on the brighter side of things, not as bright as Klipsch, and not warm like Warfedale , but it’s this amazing blend of BOTH worlds. The detail is amazing. My suggestion, if you can afford multiple speakers, you need these! 300 a pair? Come on.. If you are new at audio world and you can’t afford to much, these should be your go to for this money! I think we all can agree these speakers are special, at 1200 a pair people would pay it!
Thank you for taking the time and providing your own review. Glad you love them! You description in sound is exactly what I heard. Keep enjoying you new speakers.
Triangle Borea is better speaker than Kef Q150 in every aspects. Generally seperation is not good with Kef's coaxial design, especially multi enstrumans take part. Dali Oberon is much muscular speaker, but vocal is generally not upfront and overall not as enjoyable as Triangles.
Would a Hegel H120 work well with these speakers? I’m more interested in the BR08 floorstander version . I’m currently using Dynaudio Emit 30 and find them a bit to soft and boring at times. Another speaker I’m interested in is the Audiovector QR3 have you heard these? They look like really nice speakers.
They would work well but I’m not sure if the br08 would be your cup of tea based on previous comments. Make sure you have a listen first. Audio vector I have a feeling would suite you better.
I have not heard them, however, from what I know it’s based on the passive drivers etc. how close the sound would be depends on what amplifier your drive the passives.
Prefer the BR03 to the B&W 707 s2 with my current set-up (Wadia 151 dac/integrated). Much more coherent from top-to-bottom, with more even and fuller bass response.
Didn’t care of too much about a lot of talking in the entire video rather hear the speakers play so when you get a chance, go find those videos that will play and demonstrate how to speaker sound that your best bet

You got the Dali comparison the same as me too….I have the Dalis as my kitchen speakers…the bass response is the best thing about them
👍👍
Great review fellas, keep em coming
Thank you! 🙏🙏
I like the white! Thanks for the great review on specs and comparisons, good to know!
Thank you!
Lads great content, tks.
A question what would you pick as a phono stage, as my old Yamahas phono is struggling.
Tks anyhow, keep up the good content

I’m listening now. To all those audio snobs that won’t go there, they are missing out! It’s amazing what they can do with cardboard these days! Ha
Would it be good to paired them with a Cambridge AXA35 or AXR100???

The mid range is quite forward on the BR03. Are you sure that you broke them in ?

The triangle Boreo Br03 are actually $379 here in The United States on Amazon. Not $499.
Thank you! We just used Msrp, that’s a really good deal it works out to be $500cdn.
They are amazingly easy to drive as well. That said: they get better with more power!
👍👍
Great review guys 👍
Jim 🏴🙂
Thank you! 🙏🙏
Great review guys….bang on with my findings! Agreed on the midrange! Mine went back…..O2’s are way better!
Thank you! You got good ears 😉
I just saw these on Amazon for 279.00 for the pair. I bought a black set for 300.00.
👍👍
Great fun speakers! Thanks.
👍👍
Does the Triangle Bro 2 & 3 BT sound as good as the passive versions! Thanks!
I have not heard them, however, from what I know it’s based on the passive drivers etc. how close the sound would be depends on what amplifier your drive the passives.
You guys recommend the BR02 over the BR03?
Also are the BR02 4ohms or 8ohms?
From what I can remember they are 8 ohms. They sound so close for the exception the 3s have a little more extension.

Thank you for your input! Glad you found your speaker.
Do I need an amplifier to enjoy these, can I connect via Bluetooth? Thanks!
You would need an amp. Triangle does make an active version that I still think is in production.
@@Hifyed compared it with elac debut 2.0 b6.2 and dali spektor 2
What's your opinion
