    I was vegan and anaemic prior been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer with accites and before diagnosis I went from 89kg to 41kg. I was so thin with an abdoman full of fluid (accites) which leaked out of my blood. My albumin was low. I was told to go on a carnivore diet due to the chemo I was also taking to build up my muscles and cells and my accites greatly improved like before 8 litres was taken out of my abdoman every three weeks, lately only 250ml and my cancer marker CA 125 has been cut down to half. I believed the animal protein helped me and everybody's body is different.

    I did keto when I got cancer and I also had the cancer removed. Keto completed changed my life.....I look and feel better than I ever have.....the high healthy fats and low cards worked so well for me. I eliminated dairy like he suggests which made a huge difference but ate small amounts of meat and fish. Also I always had problems with my thyroid but not anymore.....so happy with my health now. Will never stop keto!!

    Great interview with Dr. Campbell !!!
    He's 💯% right about everything that he said✅
    I have been a vegan for over thirty years now and since then I have not been sick at all (as an interesting fact, I wanna mention, that I took antibiotics only once in my life when I was still a child at the age of about eight). I do not take any medications, do not get any sickness, I am in my near fifties and I look like thirty.
    I feel great in body and mind because animals are our friends, not our food ❤🦆🐟🐖🐏🐂🐄🐓🦃.......‼

    I see many comments criticizing the no meat all plant based diet making claims that don't go with his studies, bear in mind unless you grow your own plants or buy organic there is an array of chemicals used in the growing process, and just because the FDA approved something does not mean it is safe.

    • @sunchaserw1477
      @sunchaserw1477 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Agreed. Plants are so good considering their cancer fighting features but in these days, the more plants we take, the more pesticide, herbicides, insecticide and even heavy metals we swallow unless they are all organic or we grow them ourselves. But then, how many of us can do that ?

    Dr Campbell's initial suspicions came from observations various villages in China
    They had such isolation that they had to eat pretty much what they had in the general vicinity because trade was not very easy if at all feasible.
    This made for an excellent opportunity to observe the differences in health based on diet.
    And to be fair, he did notice that the lowest incidences of heart disease and cancer were in those villages who had strictly plant-based diets.
    Hey then proposed a hypothesis and took that hypothesis to the lab and used milk protein known as casein to experiment with.
    He did indeed observe that they could turn specific cancer cells on and off by either giving them casein or removing casein.
    My only issue is with his overall conclusions. I don't know that it's fair to say that complex animals such as human beings would react the same way to animal protein as cultured cells do in a laboratory. In addition, very few people consume casein exclusively with no other nutrients; so we don't know the mitigating factors that those other nutrients have
    By the way, as a ironic side note, Dr Campbell grew up in the farming community; specifically dairy. So anybody thinks that he has it in for the dairy community is wrong.
    I think its findings are valuable and should be studied further to see the effects of combined nutrients on cells. Also, it would be interesting to see the effects of other kinds of animal proteins given to lab cultured cells.
    Not sure what would be the benefits exactly, but it would just be interesting to do.

      @F.H. The food and milk products were sourced differently during your parent’s time period. The cancer could have been hereditary or diet related since the food sources had change over the years. They both lived to be in their 80’s is a blessing since people are dying much earlier nowadays.

    • @F.H.
      @F.H. หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@Misty0414 That is true. My mom lived in Canada since the 50's, while she was a teen...and avoided milk n yogurt. However, she was diagnosed with it 1 year before she passed..although she was going to her doctor and having many tests done. The only thing that she was taking pills for was HBP and Thyroid. She always told me..eat healthily, but also eat what your body is craving for..whether it's a burger once in a while, or pizza or whatever. Personally, I think when your time comes, you will get something to either take your life quickly..or something will happen tragically. Yes, take care of yourself in all ways, no doubt....but I don't believe in being extreme...like I cannot b a vegetarian, and yet, I don't eat meat everyday.

    It's good to be conscious and make basic healthy decisions, but to be overly concerned about what you consume and to spend endless money on obsessing about your diet is a form of idolatry.
