KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN !!! You got me with the Monster Gold Nugget..... whaaaaah whaaaaaaah ....pretty cool track switch Frank ...... its a cool feeling reliving the days of the " Old Timers " ...well said sonny Jim.... surprised you are not running the eimco 12b in there
Yup... This "Fools Day" got me two, I'm usually not easy to bite the hook but this one I swallowed it deep (don't go there Jeff😜) Come On Man, sure would love a good story tell'n from ya !!!
You are doing such a wonderful job. The outside world will love it. Frank, you and Sharon are a gift to the everyday people who will benefit from all your hard and loving work. God Bless you. Happy Easter.
Putting in a lot of cool stuff, make it great. Keep it cool. Giving us all the $50 dollar tour, looking good. The history of any mine, even one mine would be a memorial to them all. Hard workers they were.
Frank you drove dozers like you explore mines. You go were few will go lol thks again Sharon good camera work and Frank for squeezing out my last adrenaline via your videos...
well done to the two of you! It’s amazing what you’ve achieved, if I wasn’t so old, I would definitely love to be one of the first visitors, I’ve been watching Franks channel since the Antioch days. Good luck to you both, and thank you, Peter
As been a truck driver. I absolutely cannot believe you put a couple of sticks underneath that Cat to unload it. I still cannot believe the truck driver even allowed it. Besides the critique. Love your channel.
I saw buckets of HIGH GRADE gold at the Hoyle Pond Mine in Timmins ON, remote mucking with 2 yard diesel scoop trams...we had to wash each bucket for dust control any yes for sampling. Every bucket had more visible gold than waste muck, and that IS a fact! But this was the only time that I saw that much gold ever other than when the crew had our picture taken holding a 50 lb gold brick, but I worked in the underground mines of Timmins ON for 43 years when a stroke ended my mining career.
I stope mined at the former Dickenson mine in Balmertown . Everybody's face had vg in it every shift . We once hit a pod of gold 2 rounds deep and 2 raise rounds up ... frigging butter everywhere . That was on the 1300 level . Must have been 30 million in gold . Those mines are still going and getting richer the deeper they go . Frank has never been a miner and doesn't know what its really like . He's a capable fella with many skill sets though . Edit : And no .. the cheap ***ker that owned the mine .. Robert McEwen did not give us an extra bonus for finding that much extra gold . Rich people are assholes , and I'm dying from copd from the silica dust .
Hey Frank second generation electrician coal miner here. I suggest you should consider grouser's on that D3. Glad to see you have come along ways. Sounds like you need some cleaner diesel or add some Hotshot's that stuff is the best fuel and oil treatment on the market in my opinion
Areet. Great video 👍 your new doser sounds like it's not running right and spluttering quite a bit. I've never heard one running before but it just doesn't sound right.❤️💛💚
The nice thing about owning a mine is that you can alter it however you want .. drilling out rocks to make room for certain rooms..etc. like owning your own house
Enjoyed the episode, I want to come visit the museum but I have to get my passport first, hopefully I'll get to see you both real soon 😊 Congratulations on the cat, and gold, pretty neat 😊
You've come a long way, with miles to go. Your shiny was of the wrong type, lol Thank you, Frank & Sharon. Nice trail cat you have now, and she does purr very well. All the best to you both! See ya next time.
As always, entertaining and informative shows(and a lot of hard work). Very interesting show of Phoenix as well. Glad to hear the water is good, cold enough to use for air conditioning in the summer.
You living the dream Frank & Sharon! Lucky you are to continue such interesting projects. I’m wonder if some ressource still in place. You should make a panning spot for visitor too!
I know, just telling suggestions, saw a panning station for tourist at hollinger mine museum at timmins, now been all blasted out for open pit mining. But in addition of the underground tour, they haved mining equipments museum but also a gold panning spot for kid and beginners
I knew all that about mines, gold & pyrite, but you still got me this morn! Of course, it's the 8th by now, so I thought I'd safely cleared the Fool's Day tricksters...but no! LoL Coming right along: interesting to watch y'all envision a space, then manifest that vision one dream at a time thru teamwork. For folks who claim to not know what they're doing, you sure have accomplished plenty! I like those lil' kittens, too (baby Kats), quite maneuverable, & dedicated log-splitters to-boot!
Good stuff there guys, however a small ask - next time you're on top end of the mule trail, give us a nice clean shot of the view!! From what can be seen, it looks stunning! Thx
Haha... Sorry Frank and Sharon but I couldn't help myself from laughing when the boards broke when unloading that dozer. I could see it coming when you first placed the boards on that semi,, I knew they wouldn't be strong enough. Perhaps you did it for entertainment. I look forward to your shows every week, wish I lived somewhere near by so I could visit you and help you with your enterprise. Unfortunately Australia is a bit far away.
Something to keep in mind is to keep the dead wood back from your place. There has been so many wildfires latley. Lytton is still looking not so great. Love your videos! I'm adding your place to summer destinations here in BC!
something we came to when opening a mine in wales uk. the mine walls are coated in blast dust from earlier works, hiding the geology . web had a tank and pressure washer on a flatbed to wash down any area we were interested in to test or prospect. if you get any summer volunteer help that would be worthwhile, wash the walls so we can see the ground the mine is in 😊
Seeing that much crack pushing a cart made me think I was still at work and needing to look away. Do you need more spikes? I keep one in my tackle box for finishing things, but I occasionally find piles of old ones. Apparently they aren’t worth being scrapped or reused when track is replaced.
CONGRATULATIONS! on moving in to your new temporary home, that's wonderful news. Great job getting the CAT unloaded - NICE bit of kit and obviously valuable in allowing to expand your site - please would you use the drone and share an overview on how the site is expanding. The mine is looking brilliant. Love and greatest respect to you both ❤👷🏻♂⛏👷🏻♀⛏ ❤
You two are doing an incredible job.i enjoy watching the show here in NH. I believe we donot have any gold mines in nh .but we did have gem stone mine or mica mine called ruggles mine closed a few years ago .we went there with my son when he was younger. Take care god bless be safe.
How are you going to protect the rolling stock in the winter? Are you linking that piece of track to the mine? Or is it a different gauge? Great work so far!
I am dumbfounded by the prodigious amount of work you two have done. Darned near superhuman. Glad that you are not enemies. I’d have the white flag flying at sunrise.
That was one thing I covid never quite grasp, heres frank in every single mine ever dug, and no gold! Lol. Frank what kind of planks are you using there pine? Lol, You need some oak
Willow is about the easiest plant to grow cutting from. They already contain high levels of rooting hormones (the same used commercially, indole-3-butyric acid) naturally. A "tea" from the bark will root other plants also. Anyhow... Go cut a load of willow branches and whips then cut the bottom pointed and jam them in the ground like a stake. Then water regularly (they will tolerate wet better than dry) till the new grow starts showing-up and continue for another few weeks. They will drop whatever leaves and may die back a little but I've had over 90% live doing that. It is common in England, or was. They took whole cartloads of whips and would weave them together as they stuck them down. It grows beautifully. I actually never had a tree to start with. I got a branch of contorted willow while cutting flood logs along a river and got a dozen from it then cut those for another 100 a couple years later.
I think OSHA is short for oh shit. Perhaps the Yankee Boy needs an offload ramp for the big steel stuff? That was a close one with the D3K! The blacksmith shop will look awesome!
I was hoping that WAS real gold, after all the work you've put into the Yankee I think you deserver a pleasant surprise. I hope you DO find real gold there, or something more valuable. /fingers crossed

Equipment is usually hauled on a lowbed. We had to improvise!
They used slide rails. It consisted of rails on the side. Once they had room they stood the rails upright
At the face for the muckers. We have seen that in many mines.
I was hoping that WAS real gold, after all the work you've put into the Yankee I think you deserver a pleasant surprise.
