    G2A has been humiliating itself recently. After years of ducking criticism, the grey market key reseller is finally unable to dismiss accusations, and its response has been hilariously sad.
    Let Sterling, the Super Heavyweight Supervillain, take you through G2A's shady practices and ridiculous deflections. Oh my... let the Star Eater show you.

      It is like a bankrobber arguing that he is not a bankrobber, he is just a guy parking outside a bank with a mask on, waiting for his friend that also happens to wear a mask (and having a gun carrying license) to drive him to a friend that happens to have an Italian accent, that also happens to have a lot of business and friends. funny though, I bought a game from G2A a year or so ago that was bought with a stolen credit card. The only part of the interaction that I considered unethical was my interaction with GOG. My interaction with G2A to get a refund was quick and easy. Also... if you're a dev that creates 26000 keys and puts them out there without seeing any money then, yeah of course it's your fault and you're obviously morally challenged in the first place.

    I actually got into a flame war on Facebook after making a mention to Jim Sterling's "Devs would rather you pirate their game" video on the specific article talking about that prewritten article and I had people actually defending G2A saying it's just angry developers wanting more money. Then when I had the link to the video up, they *LITERALLY* gave no evidence about devs being secretly upset, but said the video I linked had nothing factual and I needed to post better facts. Then when I posted 3 articles, including one article breaking down how to make risk-free money off of G2A, I was ignored with one person even telling me he's ignoring what I'm digging up because he "doesn't like it."

So even if someone decided to take...someone to court, there's a decent chance that G2A's lawyers would be able to argue that, since they neither stole the credit cards nor "knew" that the goods they were selling were stolen, they have no financial responsibility and the victim has to go and sue the credit card thieves...whoever they are.

    Glad to see the package came on time!
    Now he's Sterlaris! The Tyrant Sun, Son!
    Or he's come up with his own name so he doesn't step on any toes, legally speaking. Probably a better idea than mine.

    Did you model the Sterling persona after Electro from the "me and the boys"-meme on purpose or was that accidental? I mean if there was a corny Spider Man villain to base your (other) super villain persona on, I would have expected Mysterio.

    That argument about "cashing out ASAP" doesn't make any sense. Buying the games is what cashing it out ASAP is. Do they think the thieves have to spend several months BUYING the keys as well?

    • @thermallance7947
      @thermallance7947 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not like they needed to sell all the keys anyway. Criminal would be more than happy with a quick 500$ gain. They are just overinflating it to 5000 so it look better on their end. In reality you'd be dumb suddently buying 5000$ on a single stolen card.
