I got use to the indicators to the point of preferring them for changing lanes. I like not having to take my hand off the steering wheel. It's muscle memory now to feel the dash imprint and press above or below for left or right. [I don't have many roundabouts near me so that aspect has been a nonissue.]
Have absolutely no issue on a motorway, but with roundabouts, it’s impossible not to take your hands off the wheel which ends up upside down and makes it much worse.
Well I don´t care about the indicators, I live in a country with roundabouts and I get used to them. About the drive and handling. I love how the new Tesla reacts and I love how it drives, it´s a bit go-carty and responds really well to input on the steering wheel. The seats I find really comfortable.. it´s really efficient (the most efficient EV at this price point), VERY quiet, great sound system. You will not get a better EV for this money. That is just a fact.
The Ioniq6 and the I4 are almost twice the price of the new Tesla model 3 and they don´t have the range of the Tesla. The Ioniq6 is a great car also but too expensive.
Firstly, the indicators are ridiculous. Secondly, it’s probably the worst to drive in its class. Thirdly, the seats ARE uncomfortable. Fourthly, we’ve tested it against rivals and it’s by far the loudest inside with poor sound insulation. Lastly, on equivalent spec, the Tesla is only £3k cheaper than the Ioniq 6 and £6k cheaper than the i4, so your price point is utter bollocks. I’ll give you the efficiency point, but the rest is nonsense based on feelings rather than fact.
The door handles are my least favorite thing about the new m3, more then no stocks and no physical gears selector. Edit: and props for using the old GoPro!
The guy has no idea what he's talking about. I've driven the Ioniq 6, BYD, and Tesla 3, and the Tesla handles way better than the others. The only thing I agree with is that BMW has better handling, but we're talking about a car that's almost twice the price of a Tesla. Tesla is the lightest of all these electric cars, and you can feel it while driving, which is a huge advantage in terms of handling.
He sort of does, given this is his job… but agree to disagree. At least he knows the BMW isn’t twice the price, not even close. We had all three cars on test at the same time and it was a unanimous decision by the team on handling - the Tesla was not as good as the other two. If you bother to watch the full review, you’ll note Rob talks about the weight and its benefits during the driving segment.
@@BuckleUpShow From dozens, if not more, reviews, opinions are completely different when it comes to handling, so your team's opinion stands in opposition to the opinions of truly respected automotive reviewers. You are not any authority on TH-cam to make such definitive statements. I had the opportunity to test these cars myself and I agree with the rest of the automotive world that Tesla handles the best of the three. You can think whatever you want, but with such off-target and inaccurate theses, I don't predict success for this channel.
@Uniol can you site any of these reviews please. We’d be very interested to hear who you consider ‘truly respected’. I’m sure we can find more than dozens of reviews where they agree with us too. Funnily enough, Rob was hanging out with the majority of the British motoring press this week, and they all thought the same way too. Fancy that. We in no way claim or have ever claimed to be an authority on TH-cam, whatever that means, but if our opinions are worthless, then we dread to think how little you value your own opinion given you have absolutely zero ‘authority’ on road testing cars. Thank you for your well wishes, although we think the channel will probably manage without the backing of a fully paid up member of the Teslarati.

Decent video I've got a new model 3 and the indicators are a piece of piss to use, the wipers aren't great but you can easily adjust them without going into all the menus
How? I don’t understand how something that moves from one side of the steering wheel to the other, and then because of that is the wrong way round, can possibly be ‘easy’ to use.
Sorry, we’ll just have to disagree. We had the car for a week and no one that drove it, thought the indicator buttons were a sensible solution to a problem that didn’t exist.
Bang on good review. This guy, the top, has really good analysis, well you all do to be fair. Still wouldn't go for a Model 3 over the BYD equivalent. Lst time I was here i got quite the tongue lashing for suggesting he was with his boyfriend in the car 😂.
Rob definitely said ‘dual’. This might be a lot of new info for you, but people outside of the US exist and believe it or not, sometimes say words differently.

As much as I want to hate it, it is actually really good. Efficient, practical and looks good on the driveway
It’s very difficult to find much wrong, apart from the stupid indicator buttons.

Yeah, we’ll add those to the list of issues too.
Great video and timing as I literally uploaded the Model 3 yesterday on my channel haha!
Oh nice, we’ll check yours out too!

@jonfrench7133 how would you better deal with total nonsense?

Thanks for coming back to watch again! Unfortunately, Jasper and Rob still aren’t romantically involved as much as you want it to be the case.
If they just fitted some good seats and an indicator stalk I might actually like this car
