mike is in both bands currently. mr.bungle is his main band and his first band. faith no more was/still is his side band lol mr.bungle formed in 1985 with mike, mike latered joined FNM in 1988. FNM has been around longer tho since 1979 with other previous singers. bungle is a e xtreme experimental rock/metal band and FNM is a experiemental rock/metal band as well just a more less extreme and more traidtional in a sense lol
Madness was around before Mr. Bungle. And Mike Patton from Faith No More has always been the lead singer and keyboard guy for Mr. Bungle. In fact, he formed Mr. Bungle back when he was still a teenager in high school, a few years before joining Faith No More. He and Mr. Bungle’s guitarist, Trey Spruance, passed a Mr. Bungle demo tape to Faith No More’s guitarist, Jim Martin, at an FNM show, which was what led to Patton being asked to be their singer after they fired Chuck Mosley.
Love this song! It features sound effects from my favorite pinball machine Cyclone... "Ride the ferris wheel" "hey you" "welcome to my house" "round and round she goes" and some of the other sounds. I used to skip out on community college classes and go to the arcade to play pinball lol. Kind of a rough point in my life, I only took 1 semester and I can't even remember if I finished it! To be fair it was over 30 years ago lol
Mr Bungle actually began in 1986 as high schoolers. Check out The Raging Wrath of The Easter Bunny (2021) it's a thrash masterpiece with Dave Lombardo and Scott Ian!
My husband introduced me to Mr. Bungle back around 2004. They are absolute geniuses. My favorite song is Girls of Porn. Vulgar? Yes. Musically brilliant? Yes.
i can‘t fug with the fact that they composed that album as teenagers. mind blowing band

Yep it was Mike Patton. Mr Bungles started in the mid 80s where as Madness started in the mid 70s.
Totally bonkers 🤣🤣🤣 Love it
Wow! Was not expecting Mr. Bungle! My favorite off their album and another example of Mike Patton's versatility. Thank you for reacting!
bunglle one of the influential bands that helped inspired nu metal bands like korn and system of down/ slipklnot n more :)
But as Mike Patton says: "don't blame me, blame their parents!"

Excellent choice! One of my favorite bands
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lot's of changes, but they were seamless.
Amazing that they can remember all the changes to so many different songs when they play live
Ska, punk, circus, thrash, a bunglesque mish-mash
