Kodi supported Putri Ariani in AGT last year, posting a TH-cam video and sending her messages on Instagram wishing her luck. He called her "my sister" bec his mom is half-Indonesian. Putri should have won as Kodi did, and I'm sure if that had happened we would surely see a duet on the show.

Yeah, I think you should probably watch that movie - Purple Rain. It and the accompanying album of the same name are what shot him into the stratosphere. You'll get a good sense of his peerless talents and what a once-in-a-generation performer he was - (lots of concert scenes). It's a very special album too because he was forced by the movie production to take his sweet time with it. (He was famous for knocking out something like a new song a day, never spending more time than absolutely necessary to finish it). And that extra care shows. It's an absolutely essential album by any standard. You can't have a full grasp of the 80s without it. And the number of artists he influenced is staggering.

Reaction suggestion: Touhou 8 OST. Its a game franchise and touhou 8 just happened to be the best at theme making. Be sure to give Touhou a try!

Here's my little breakdown of what I believe Ren is poetically saying in verses 3 & 4 but sometimes poetry & art can be self interpretive. Verse #3: Ren is giving us a deep double by using Skelington instead of the word Skeleton as in a reference to Jack Skelington from "The Nightmare Before Christmas". The story goes that Jack, as the "Pumpkin King" and master of ceremonies, is in charge of Halloweeen Town (film's Halloween celebration). He is loved, respected, and even idolized by the other residents for his role, but he has grown weary of celebrating the same holiday endlessly and is depressed about it. So this could very well mean that Ren might be feeling pigeon hold or uncomfortable how some fans idolize and celebrate him JUST for the work from the Sick Boi Album. He's trying to say he's hoping to be known for more than only the music that revolved around the most painful part of his life. This would fit because by the end of this song he's essentially killing off the Sick Boi and all the dark and light variations of that character (Hi Ren) and a new Ren emerges for the new album also titled Slaughter House. In verse #4: Ren is Dexter & he's created a crazy new album in his lab. "Working in a lab a mad bad lad, Dexter" - referencing (Dexter's Lab) The new album; unlike his Sick Boi album, only has a couple of hip hop tracks and is 90% melodic, so he's looking to impress us switching up the style on the new album to blow us away. "Switch up the style like bi-sex, impress you" He also saying that he's worked hard writing new songs that's heavy & electrifying - "Heavy lift - tricep, bicep, I flex the Thunder and lightning writing, I'm Tesla Connect, direct it, hertz disconnect The last part I believe is just Ren being a little bit braggadocious. He's letting us know how good he believes the new album is. Ren may even silence all the naysayers and hater out there with this new twist on this album, which is his "bullet" and they'll all "kneel to the emperor" & give Ren his flowers. " Coming for your neck, the head debt collector A million degrees graduate semester A bullet in the knee till you kneel to the emperor", That's just my 2 cents worth 😜... for all that's worth lol.
