You should check out the ACNA, while the Reformed Episcopal Church is one of our diocese, we have several more. A faithful Anglican I would say is one who can affirm the Lambeth Quadrilateral, and the Jerusalem Declaration. The 39 Articles are not Reformed in theology, they are rather open ended in some cases, I myself am a mix of Lutheran, Greek Orthodox, and Presbyterian in my own thinking :). There is great diversity in the Anglican church!

Is being in a Reformed Baptist church the reason I was invited to a gun range? To make matters weirder, in spite of growing up in a city filled with crime, the gun range was my first true experience dealing with guns.
If this were the 80's i think the Methodists would still have mostly Orthodox members. Sadly in my area, the only church that still keeps the Presbyterian name is more like the Methodists, the other formerly Presbyterian churches have adopted names like Elevate, Journey, Cross Roads etc.
As an Anglican raised Lutheran, I’m still working on raining in my German directness/condescension. In keeping with that goal, I won’t mention that the Presbyterian and the Reformed Baptist made me vomit in my mouth a little bit.

I was raised Baptist, went to PCA for a while. Now LCMS elder. Most LCMS Lutherans don’t really notice most other Protestants and do their own thing which is Loving God and their neighbor. Calvary Chapel (CC) was related to Charismatic/Pentecostal movements but that was a generation ago. The Vineyard Christian Fellowship split was because CC wasn’t Charismatic/Pentecostal enough. I agree that CC should be considered a denomination. But the video doesn’t cover all and so many are very similar. Here in SoCal, several CC congregations are mega-churches like CC Costa Mesa (the mother church), CC Downey back in the 80s, CC Diamond Bar, and others. Harvest Christian Fellowship is a CC clone, theologically. They are Big Eva but not like Joel Osteen. Yet there are many small CC congregations. So my conclusion is that CC fits somewhere between Big Eva, IFB and Southern Baptist. They all look alike to me.
There needs to be a hypercharismatic that is looking for their Kingdom spouse to read the Passion translation with and accompany them when they visit Heaven every other day. I feel sick just typing Passion translation in refrence to the Bible. I must read my 1611 KJV post haste! Lol

If this were the 80's i think the Methodists would still have mostly Orthodox members. Sadly in my area, the only church that still keeps the Presbyterian name is more like the Methodists, the other formerly Presbyterian churches have adopted names like Elevate, Journey, Cross Roads etc.

As an Anglican raised Lutheran, I’m still working on raining in my German directness/condescension. In keeping with that goal, I won’t mention that the Presbyterian and the Reformed Baptist made me vomit in my mouth a little bit.

I was raised Baptist, went to PCA for a while. Now LCMS elder. Most LCMS Lutherans don’t really notice most other Protestants and do their own thing which is Loving God and their neighbor. Oh yeah and drink beer, and bourbon, and smoke cigars…. Did I say drink beer? We are like the Oldsmobiles of the Christian world.

@@johnboyx63 IFB? Calvary Chaple was rooted in pentecostalism that's the archenemy of the IFBs. However Calvary Chaple from what I see doesn't practice any pentecostal stuff so maybe you're right. Out where I live Calvary Chaple is a denomination.

Calvary Chapel (CC) was related to Charismatic/Pentecostal movements but that was a generation ago. The Vineyard Christian Fellowship split was because CC wasn’t Charismatic/Pentecostal enough.
I agree that CC should be considered a denomination. But the video doesn’t cover all and so many are very similar.
Here in SoCal, several CC congregations are mega-churches like CC Costa Mesa (the mother church), CC Downey back in the 80s, CC Diamond Bar, and others. Harvest Christian Fellowship is a CC clone, theologically. They are Big Eva but not like Joel Osteen. Yet there are many small CC congregations.
So my conclusion is that CC fits somewhere between Big Eva, IFB and Southern Baptist. They all look alike to me.
