- This quick tutorial will show you a few methods to fix error number SU-41333-4. Typically this error prevents you from booting up your PS4. We will use the safe mode to resolve this issue and allow you to regain access to your Playstation 4.

Bruh I had to initiliaze it that’s the worst shit ever I have to say goodbye to everything saved on my ps4 😢 like damn this saved data was from 2014-2015 as well which makes it worse

When I press the ps button it takes me to a screen saying " connect a usb storage device that contains an update for reinstallation for version 9.03 or later." And when I press ok it turns off and does it again
How have you solved that? The same is happening to me but with version 11.02.

I dont understand. Why is he saying, that you'll have to choose option 6 and 7? Won't you loose EVERYTHING you had? Or can you restore all your data without any problems? Because I'm pretty afraid, that I'm gonna loose all my saved data by doing this, because my ps4 works completely fine, I've just got this error out of nothing..

@@boscergee6273 Yeah It did I used the extra storage box and move all my saved games into that. And if that's screen pops up again , I'll unplug the extra storage box and then I just nuke my PS4 again. YEAH it won't reset everything but luckily all my saved games are in that one memory box I can replug it again and all my saved games are safe THANKS GOD

This video helped me. I did the data restore twice because it didn't work the first time and I really didn't want to wipe my data. The second time it worked and thank God it did. So many hours of bloodborne I've put in this week just to platinum it. I'm so relieved right now

This is for the last option (7):
If you are getting the usb device not recognized, make sure the thumb drive is all the way in. You should see it light up if it has a light on it.
Also make sure you dont have a game disc in the ps4. The OS will try and boot the disc first instead of the usb thumb drive. Hope this helps.

Click "cancel" then wait for your console to shutdown, then hold it down again. worked for me.
Hey guys, sorry for the late response just now seeing these notifications. My ps4 wouldn’t accept any of my USB drives as I kept getting the message “please insert a USB” so I did some digging. Turns out all you have to do is buy a ps4 compatible USB (or borrow one like I did) then go to their website and follow the instructions for the download of the new update

If that doesn’t help try reinstalling a hard drive (cheaper then buying a new ps4,) hope this helped good luck

@Altoelder Great video, but i think a lot of people, don't know to boot up in safe mode first. As they are trying to follow the video, from the crush loop. That the PS puts you in if you have had a bootup issue. It's always better to just shut down the PS, even if you get this message on bootup.

When I start my ps4 it says checking system storage and pause at 25 or some times 27 this was my new hdd buyed 2 months ago but now when I have this issue I initialized my ps4 it turns on and when ever I turn off it again it goes to checking system storage and says download the system software 7.50 and I update system software using internet it gives a error code or sometimes it starts and again when I turn of same process starts.

I’ve done all of these steps and my PS4 still isn’t work. I am still on the same error code (SU-41333-4) My 8 GB USB is blinking and the signs are saying it’s working and then it just says it’s not connected. I have removed my game form my PS4 and it still won’t work. I have double checked on the files and they’re accurate. Please help!!
Replace your hard drive. I've had that same problem and tried all fixes but none worked. I just changed my hard drive and it works fine now. I hope it helps, good luck.

I did option six and it worked fine ps4 was like new
when i click 5 6 or 7 it says cant initialize or cant access system storage however after retrying like 100 times no exaggeration it worked and told me to connect camera asked date and time ect then when on ps4 home screen attempt to re-download fortnite the system crashes and re-ask for update file from usb i got it to fix the ps4 4 times and after about 2-5 mins of it being fixed looking factory new it turns it self off and back in safe mode loop what is the fix to this if you know and if you dont know can you say you dont no so ik to just take the L and get a new ps4 thx

I hadn’t played my ps4 for about 3 months and this happened but instead of starting with option 5, first I started with option 3 and then option 5 and it worked I had a system update so maybe try that if your in the same situation as me

@@Altoelder i have and i get the same issue as alex. ik the issue is caused because i have 2 hard drives i did the update on 1 and am now trying to do the 2nd one which has all but the latest update. using option 6 with the usb with the update on it use 2 work. now it dosent. so i have no idea how to fix this problem. been trying for 3 days now.

I tried literally everything. 5 and 6 did not help at all and i have a flash drive and i made sure it was in all the way and that no disk was inside and nothing happened. I downloaded that stupid 7.00 file several times following the correct steps and it tells me the update file can not be used

I called PlayStation customer support they said that if nothing is working and resolving the issues that i was having that you can request for a repair they send you a box and you put your receipt in with your ps4 and either they fix it or send you a refurbished one also it doesnt matter if your warranty is over you can still pay a $90 fee and get it fixed anyway which would be cheaper than going and buying a whole new console the only reason you get most of these error codes is because the consoles data is corrupted which is cause by the ps4 not being turned off properly and if thats not it i don’t know what to tell you hopefully this helps you guys :)
